So I tried to make this semi-awkward because this is only the second time they have talked. Emily is not going to talk to Cameron the same way she speaks to her brother and her mother, or her closest friends. She will open more when she knows more about Cameron and starts to trust him. Also, neither is Cameron going to instantly speak to her the same way he does with his friends.

They will show more of their personalities when they interact more, so yeah, it will be awkward at the beginning for them.
