Resurrection

That day had finally arrived.

You and Ban went to ancient temple to bring Elaine back to life.

At the atrium of the temple, you were there with Ban in order to do the ceremony.
You both looked into each other's eyes. No one says anything for awhile.

Finally you started the conversation.

"Ban-sama, we are not going to see each other anymore. This is the last time we will be together. May I ask you for something?" You asked.

"Sure, you had done many things for me. I will do whatever you ask..."
"... Before I die"

You started crying just thinking about you will not see him anymore.

"Can we kiss before being apart?"

Ban answer your question by pulled you close and hugged you tight.

He softly kissed on your lips.

It was gently and sweet. He kissed you long enough to almost made you change your mind but you couldn't.

"Thank you for being beside me all the time"
"Thanks for everything."
"My life has more meaning when I was with you. I wish we could be together longer and... forever"

Ban kissed you again.

You were surprised about what he just said. You cried much more. Your heart told you to stop the ceremony. You didn't want to be apart from this guy in front of you.

But you have to follow your promise.

"Ban -sama..."

"I'm sorry..."

"Hope you have a happy life with Elaine after this forever..."

"...I love you"

While Ban was perplexed by your words. You used your power and push him out of the  atrium. Ban was blown across the forest and stopped by a big tree near the Boar Hat bar.

Everyone in the bar came out to see what happened outside.

Attaching with the tree, Ban still wondered what happened to him.

"No doubt you are back here safely" Merlin said while walking out from the bar.

"What do you mean by that?" Ban was still confused

"You know what she did to me?"

"Don't worry, Elaine will come back to you soon as you wish. Just wait here" Said Merlin.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"How can she get back if it doesn't exchange with my life?" Ban was extremely confused for what Merlin said.

Everyone keep silent.

Finally, King decided to say it out.

"Ok, before it's too late. I will tell you the truth"

"When (Y/N) said resurrection must exchange with life, it doesn't mean whomever's life"

"But it must be exchanged with angel's life only..."

Ban was getting mad for what he had heard

"You guys know about this"

"All of you!!"

"But no one let me know!!!"

"(Y/N) begged us not to tell this to you" Meliodas tried to explain.

"So you gonna let her die!!? Ban was being more furious

"I will never let it happen"

Ban headed to the temple willing to stop the ceremony.

"Let me help you to stop her" King shouted out and flied to carry Ban to temple

"I'm so sorry Ban. I was so selfish"

"Just thinking that Elaine is back, it made me be wicked"

King made an apology while heading to the temple with Ban on his back.

"I understand"

"I wish to see Elaine comes back too"

"But (Y/N) is not deserved to die" Ban said with his eyes looked direct to the atrium

Arrived the atrium.

You were standing there

"(Y/N)!!"

Ban shouted your name and running to you with his life

You turned to him

"Ban"

He stopped short at the eyes you was looking at him.

It was not the way you always look.

The woman in front of him wasn't you.

Elaine was back...

She was back into your body.

"What the hell is that!!"

Ban was shocked and confused for what happened.

He didn't know what should he feel .

Also didn't understand why you do this.

He should be happy to see Elaine's back to life but why he didn't actually.

Elaine walked to Ban and hugged him.

Ban was standing still because of shocking.

He was not even smile...

"Ban, finally I'm back to see you again"

"I miss you so much" Elaine said with smile

By saying that she was suddenly unconscious into Ban's embrace

"This is not what I want..."

"Why, why you do this!!"

"Why didn't you tell me the truth!!"

"If I know I will never let this happen to you!!"

Ban moaned and groaned loud out the atrium

He carried her up with tears in his eyes and took her back to the bar.
