I awoke in a bed with white drapes surrounding the headboard. I looked around "Where am I at?" I sighed, pulling the comforters from over my body and looking down to the pool in the bedroom. "Wow, who's ever house I'm in, they must be rich," I said to myself. I looked at the clothes I was wearing, feeling rich. I looked to around to see that there was another area that you could walk into, through the back. I looked around the corner I was hiding from and there seemed to be a woman that had my facial features and was incredibly beautiful. She seemed stressed about something. "Hello?... I can feel you watching me so who ever it is just come out" I heard her soft voice say calmly. I walked out of my hiding area, waving at her "Oh my, you're alive. I thought you wouldn't make it but I knew that I could bring you back." I furrowed my brows in confusion as she hugged me tightly, my hands kept its stance on my sides. "W-who are you?" I asked in confusion. "I am known as the Moon Goddess and I heard your prayers" I giggled slightly, sure she was pretty but I mean she can't be serious. I tried to decide what she said but it seemed as if I couldn't talk. I was muted...I touched my mouth in alarm. "I had to mute you, sugar, I just didn't want to hear you say horrible words." I rolled my eyes "Do you believe that I am the moon Goddess?" She asked and I nodded and I could finally speak "Thank you" I breathed. She walked to her back patio and I followed. It started to feel like I was in a movie theater. Screening my mate and my family with the pack, out in the wilderness looking for me. My brother looked like he just came from crying and I felt bad so I just looked away from the screen but she nudged my shoulder, wanting me to look. "Fucking find her or else this pack is nothing I swear-" He stopped talking because Larissa had grabbed his shoulder. "Calm down babe, the slut will show up in no time" He narrowed his eyes at her and shrugged her off of him, walking away. I closed my eyes, feeling ready to cry. "I'm really sorry I paired you up with...H-I it was in the heat of the moment" I nodded, embracing her. "I really needed a hug" I sobbed into her shoulder. "We need to have a mom-daughter first-time talk" I nodded. We walked into the living room, "Sugar, First of all, tell me why they exclude you?" I wiped my tears taking a deep breath. "On my fourteenth birthday...You're supposed to transform" a tear slipped out but she beckoned me on "I didn't turn a-and my parents were ashamed of me" I cried into her shoulder again. "I understand your pain" she smiled "There was a reasoning behind you, not transforming. You're special because I have my DNA in you." I looked flabbergasted "I know that 'scientists' say that goddess have no DNA, but we do, because it's in you and my mother passed it down to me and I'm passing down to you." I smiled back at her. "Thanks...Mom?" She nodded in confirming that I could call her that. "Also, I put down a fake body to know how the pack would react if you were dead" I furrowed my brows. "Weird but okay? Where is this house at? Just so I can visit once in a while when I get back" I sighed happily but it seemed sad "My name has 'the moon' in it for a reason. I live here" I bit my lip, That'll be hard to visit her. "Well let's get you to bed, tomorrow we exercise a little and then watch them grieve" I didn't seem tired until I yawned "Okay, night...Bye" I was going to say I love you to her but I didn't have the guts. I had trouble finding my way into the room but I found it. I fell asleep that night, dreaming about what my life would've been like right now if Dustin didn't reject me.
