Oh, and I know that I didn't update
for so long. No need to remind me, baboos. And slight hints of abuse and depression? Idk really.Frisk's P.O.V.
My head hurts...
What's happening?
The world is spinning...
Am I dead?
The light is blinding my vision, it's so bright...
Pessimistic thoughts clouded my head, which was throbbing very painfully, for your information. I felt something tickle my back, but I was too shaken up to glance below me.
I was just there, where ever I was, I know that I was lying down on something fluffy and soft. I moved my arms that had just been in a paralysed state, I gripped the soft object that had been my only comfort at that moment, glad that I didn't lose it.
Despite being slightly traumatised, I was able to turn my head into an angle that made me see the object hugging me, not literally.
It was yellow and green... It smelled good. My mind was able to realise that these were Buttercups. A patch of them, serving as a comfortable bed for my tired soul. My broken and tampered soul, with nothing, but flowers for comfort.
I know what that is now. But, where exactly am I? I'm still unsure if I'm dead or not, though I'm pretty sure heaven would've looked brighter.
...And more welcoming.
Yes, the place was dark. And the only light source was above me, and I was staring at it for a period of time now. Yeesh. It may be the only source of light, but it definitely hurts my vision.
Not long enough, I got bored just lying there, I gathered all my willpower to stand up, and fortunately, I was able to. It was dark, my vision adjusted itself, for I wasn't able to see the blinding light anymore. It just lightly illuminated the place...It was similar to the cave I entered, that apparantly lead to this new problem I have. But, instead of cracking sides and obvious signs of being very fragile, it looked kept and was decorated by tons of those sweet scented flowers, their vines wraped around the giant intimidating pillars by the corner of the darkness.
General P.O.V.
For a painful and heart-wrenching moment of regret, Frisk's mind flashed back to the not-so-humble abode she had left behind. Her breath hitched and she unwillingly stumbled back from the surprise.
Those haunting thoughts seemingly made her migrane increase fot a split second. Holding her head in desperation to ease the pain, she looked up the dimming light above her, with only her knees to support her figure.
One tear fell from the right. Then the left, unexpectedly, her eyes let out all of the grief and hardship she went through these past days. Her throat was unable to suppress the incoming sob that echoed in the darkness.
It was her first time acting like this. She hated it with all her might.
The sadness.
The tears.
Regret.
For a period of time, she sobbed all by herself. Alone, confused, and slowly loosing determination...
Was this what she wanted?

Unknown to our beloved protagonist, someone... Something was watching her from the distance, hiding in the shadows, showing a perfect example of being a creepy stalker.
'Interesting' The observer thought to himself quietly, holding in a chuckle of amusement. The mystery 'person' seemed to be contemplating on what his next move should be.
He seemed satisfied with the plan he had conjured up in his mind, now ready to make his next move and say 'Howdy' to the now calm, but still melancholic human.
But, before he could fulfill any of that, a voice interuppted the silence of the Underground.
"Oh dear, are you alright, my child?"
A voice, so calm, comforting, and sincere. Something that Frisk unknowingly desired deep down. Being with a strict family really would limit your experience with people.
Frisk, now tear free, looked with curious eyes at the one who had called her in genuine concern.
To her surprise, it wasn't a human being. It was a tall, very kind looking goat... monster... Wearing a long purple dress very similar to ones used in Waltz.
Oh. Wait. A sudden realization hit Frisk like her mother's hand. (sorry 8'D) It was for Waltz. Now, Frisk was certain about the fact that monsters had the dancing culture as well. And was more certain that she was the only one in the world who can't dance.
Wait a second, there was literally a monster goat thing in front of her. Inches away with a motherly smile and aura.
Suprisingly, Frisk wasn't scared. After all that she's been through, this was oddly fine for her. Well, whatever.
"Are you okay, my child? I know it's a surprise to see someone like me, but you've been blankly staring for a while now."
Oops. To this statement, Frisk shook her head side to side to confirm that she was alright. She slowly stood up with a bit of hesitance.
The goat lady smiled and this time, Frisk returned it. Although, it wasn't as whole hearted as the smile directed to her.
"Do not worry, I do not intend to harm you in any way. All I want is to make sure you are safe, little one." She smiled and then jerked up, looking like she had realized something.
"Forgive my manners, I forgot to introduce myslef." She did a small and graceful bow, holding the sides of her dress. "I am Toriel, Waltz dancer of the ruins, also serving as a caretaker of humans who fall down here."
Frisk couldn't surpress her face of confusion. Caretaker of the human race, despite suffering because of them? What a kind thing to do, instead of planning a revenge or any of that.
Toriel chuckled softly, stretching out her arm to the petite child. "Trust me. I know better than to trick a guest."
And with a grin showing trust, Frisk took the benevolent monster's hand. It was going to be one heck of an adventure, she was sure of that.
Then, hand in hand, they walked towards the dark path with a bright light at the end.

In the shadows, the creature from before watched with a sinister smirk and a plan forming in his head. It may not have went as planned, but he knew he could still reach his goal.
He could still manipulate the human.
He could still get that soul.
He could still regain his old form.
WELL GEEZ I'M DONE NOW OKAY YAY. GOOD. You all probably already know who the thing watching was lol.
I changed the whole journey, so it's definitely different from a normal playthrough journey.
THANKS.
