I went and looked at the note and saw my name on it.
Wren.
At least I recognised that. I thought bitterly. I looked at the note to see what was written.I had to go back to the house.
Seriously?
That's really annoying. Certainly wasn't expecting it.I also wasn't expecting the phone to vibrate.
I looked at the notification that had popped up. A reminder set for today. Said to go to 67 Theal Street.
I didn't think that was a coincidence.I turned down an alleyway, thinking a shortcut would be nice, and the GPS rerouted.
Suddenly I got this prickly feeling on the back of my neck, like I was being watched. I whipped my head around and caught a glimpse of a person, ducking behind a dumpster. I warily walked towards them, thought better of it, and started to walk back to where I woke up.
It's home. I guess. When I arrived there, someone was walking past. They saw me, smiled cheerfully and said,
"Hey there Amalia! What's going on?"
I just smiled and waved back. They moved on and I made my way up to the porch. I guess this 'Amalia' person was friendly.I got that prickly feeling on the back of my neck again. I was being watched. Again. I wondered if it was the same person as before. I looked over my shoulder just in case, but there was no one there.
