"Hey," She greeted and caressed my cheek. "Good morning."

I blinked slowly as the sun's dazzling my eyes.

"Good morning." I said. "What time is it?"

"It's still early but I already cooked breakfast."

"You should've just wake me up so we could just grab something outside." I said and sat on her bed.

She smiled. Her hair's still damp. Looks like she just finished taking a bath.

"You know I'm an early bird, Shawn. And I'm getting sick with fastfoods." She replied and stood up and grabbed the blower on the top of her drawer.

"Get up now, sleepy head. Your clothes are still in the same spot." She adds and I got up. I stretched my arms and walked behind her to hug her by the waist.

"You smell good." I nuzzled against her skin. She's so soft.

She stiffened. "Uh-huh. Now, you go take a shower and let's eat."

I saw how she blushed even I always do this to her. I love it how I affect her.

I gave her a quick kiss and took a bath.

When I finished, she's not at the room anymore. Maybe she's downstairs preparing.

I grabbed her hairbrush and fixed my hair before jogging downstairs.

"Dustin!" I heard her yell. "I said hurry up!"

"Hey," I called to get her attention. Her forehead creased.

She sighed. "That kid's a pain in the ass." She joked and I smiled.

I sat on the chair beside her and she handed me a cup of coffee.

"Do you have plans on sunday?" She asks and I looked at her.

"Don't have yet, why?"

"I was just wondering if we could visit Flynn." She said and avoided my gaze.

I know how messed up her life is but I'm thankful she's optimistic and always cheerful.

I just don't want to see her side of being weak because she shuts everyone out. She'll lock herself in her room and wouldn't talk to anyone for days which did scared me big time.

She had this big breakdown when he saw his dad with someone else. She locked herself in her room for three days. I didn't knew how she survived not eating anything. We brought food in her room but she wouldn't eat them. She's just lying at her bed staring at the empty ceiling. No one could to talk to her. Not even me.

"Sure," I said and held her hand. "We'll go visit Flynn."

She smiled and nodded.

Flynn's her older brother that's in the rehab because of drugs.

We finished our breakfast talking about random things. It's easy to lift up her mood and I'm glad she's okay again after I dragged the sensitive topic about her father last night.

"Behave, okay?" She reminds her younger brother at the backseat and Dustin nodded.

She let a deep breath out and leaned at her seat. "School's really a hell even it just started." She complains and I chuckled.

She never complained about school. She loves studying but yeah. School's really a pain in the ass.

"Never thought you'd say that."

"I thought so too." She giggled. "But it's really exhausting thinking that we'll endure it for a whole damn school year."

"Aren't you having problems with any of your subjects?" She asks and I smiled at her.
