"What's new, cuz?" this was the first thing his cousin, James, had said to him.

Draco could answer in so many ways. What's new? His heart was broken, his mother still hadn't woke up, he loved the girl they were keeping hostage, he hated his father and now would have to put up with Liz, Robert, James and a screaming new baby called Isabelle.

"Nothing much, man. What's new with you?" asked Draco, bumping his fist with James.

Draco's Aunt Liz, Uncle Robert, James and Isabelle had arrived a few minutes ago. Lucius' eyes flashed as he noticed that Draco hadn't even changed yet.

"Where's Narcissa?" Liz asked, making herself comfortable on the sofa, "She should be welcoming us."

"Um..." started Draco but a sharp blow from his father stopped him.

"She must be getting ready," said Lucius, "Why don't you go to your room and I'll see if she's ready yet? Draco, show James the living room."

Liz and Robert went upstairs and Lucius went to Draco's room. Draco turned around to look at his cousin. He had curly dirty blonde hair that fell in his blue eyes. He had been working out. His half sleeved shirt emphasised his muscles. Even he didn't wear robes.

"Where's the hostage?" asked James, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"In the basement but-"

Draco tired to object but James had already went towards the kitchen. Draco followed him, warning him not to go down there. James shrugged him off and ran down to the basement.

"Idiot," muttered Draco, climbing down the stairs, "James!"

James was standing at the door, talking to Hermione, who stared at him, half confused, half laughing.

"Who are you?" she asked, chuckling.

"I'm James, Draco's cousin, sort of. Nice to meet you," said James, holding out a hand for her to shake.

"Don't shake his hand," muttered Draco to Hermione.

She ignored him and walked forwards, taking his hand in his. She looked at Draco and muttered, "Don't tell me what to do."

"Well, you look good for a-" James stopped as Draco dragged him away from the door, "Let go, man!"

"Go upstairs! And stay there!" shouted Draco, feeling angry once again.

"See you, darling," James winked to Hermione.

Draco growled as Hermione laughed and James went upstairs. Draco turned to Hermione and frowned at her, not understanding why she was acting this way.

"Don't talk to him. Tell him to go away if he ever comes down here," ordered Draco, hoping she would just agree so he could go.

No such luck.

"I don't have to do what you say, Malfoy. Anyway, he's good company and he's really good-looking. I want to talk to him." said Hermione, turning red out of anger... or maybe she was blushing?

Draco was take aback. She can not fall that easily for James! Good looking? So... she's going to make him jealous now? It only made Draco angrier and he had to admit he was jealous. He had every right to be! He loved her and she just... broke his heart and called his cousin 'good looking'. What the hell is she playing at?

"Do not say that!" yelled Draco, walking up to the door, "Don't talk to him. If you need anything tell me."

"I'll not tell you! You don't care about me. I want him to come down here. Right now!" yelled Hermione back at him, "Malfoy, you don't scare me! I feel absolutely nothing for you! Either get me out of here before I go crazy or let me see some new faces."
