*2 months before Intro*
Today is the day ive been waiting for, for a long time now. Today is my birthday! Im finnaly 16 years old and boy it feels good. You might be thinking whats so special about being 16? Well you see my mum is quite strict and has never let me have a real phone, well a good one at least. The best I've had is a nokia, wooo.
But today I finally get a good phone! Well at least I hope I do. My mom promised but she isn't the best with keeping promises. If she hasn't got me a phone I'll be disapointed but I wont be able to show it. If I show my mom I'm disapointed she would ground me for like 2 weeks, see what I mean by strict?
I quickly hop out of bed and look in the mirror to see what kind of a state I'm in. WOW. My hair is all over the place and I look like a panda. I better make myself look some what presentable. I quickly comb through my hair and use make up wipes to remove all excess make up and rush down stairs.
When I get down stairs I have a HUGE breakfast waiting for me. Go mom! There's pancakes, croissants, french toast and bacon all there waiting for none other than me:) On cue my mom walks through the door with a big smile on her face.
"Happy Birthday Lily!" she says bringing me in to a tight hug.
"Thankyou mom!" I say wrapping my arms around her waist.
After I devour the whole lot of my breakfast, what it's my birthday I get to eat what ever, my mom brings in a bag full of presents. Booooommm.
I open each one carefully in case any thing inside is fragile. I get to the last present and I still haven't got a phone. I unwrap the paper and it's a necklace. Dont get me wrong the necklace was beautiful its just I really wanted that phone.
"Thankyou mom, these presents are great." I say truthfully but a hint of dissapointment in my tone.
She doesnt say a word. She gets up from the table with a sour face and leaves the room. Oh great she knows that I'm not fully satisfied, 2 weeks in my room here I come. Before I can go after her she returns to the room with her hands behind her back.
"Close your eyes hunny." she says happily.
I do as I'm told and reach my hands in front of me. She places the object into my hand but I keep my eyes closed untill I'm told I can open them.
"Open your eyes!" she shouts excitedly.
When I do a grin spreads across my face instantly.
" A Iphone 5 are you serious?!" I say dancing around doing my little happy dance.
"Thankyou so much!" I almost scream.
"Your welcome, now go have fun on it!" mum says once again bringing me into a hug and kissing my forehead.
With that I'm running up into my room.
