Chapter Six: Alrighty Then...

He finally pulled away and looked at me.

"Sorry."he said.

"For what?" I asked confused.

"That." He replied.

"Why are you sorry. I was actually enjoying it." I admitted.

"I'm sorry because I have a girlfriend..."

"Oh. Since when?" I asked shocked.

"Umm... since four mouths ago." He explained.

"Okay. Well why didn't you say anything last night? And why did you say something just now?! And why did you kiss me?"I asked somewhat angry and embarrassed at the same time.

"I don't know... I feel like it have more of a connection with you. We have been dating for 4 months and I don't feel anything with her. I don't like her the way I like you. I just don't know." He replied and put his hands in his face.

"Well... I... umm... I think you should tell her that."i stated.

"That's the thing. I don't know how to."

"Umm.. just tell her it's over. You have feelings for someone else. You know, if you want to." I added.

"I do. Believe me. I don't like her like I thought I did. I've been holding the fact that I like you in for almost 2 years. I just can't take it anymore. Please tell me you feel the same way." He explained.

"Well. I mean, I'm a little upset that you kissed me while you have a girlfriend but yes. I've like you for so long. I just didn't notice or say anything for a while." I replied.

"Seriously? You like me?"

"Yea... what's not to like. Your cute, sweet, funny. Not to mention you muscles are amazing" I flirted and winked.

"Oh. Yea. I try." He giggled.

"Well it works." I said.

"Okay. Well I'm gonna go call Tiffany and break up with her. I have someone else more important." he winked and was gone.

I walk inside and Carmen is sitting at the counter.

"I saw that," she stopped me.

"You did? How much of it?" I asked hoping she didn't see that kiss.

"Just enough..." she said with a devilish smile. "So you and Zac. I never thought in a million years that I would ever say that."

"Believe me. Me either." I laughed. "You saw the kiss?"

"Oh yea. It was pretty heated by the looks of it."

"Psshh. You have no idea"I giggled.

"Oh" she just looked at me with that devilish smile again.

About that time Zac walked in and walk straight to me. He leaned down to my ear and said "I'm officially single." with a wink. Then walked away to the stairs.

"What was that about?" asked Carmen, interrupting my stare.

"Oh nothing" I answered.

"Seriously what did he say?" she asked looking very serious.

"Non ya" I added and walked away.

I heard her say "alrighty then" as I walked away. I smiled.

I turned around and added, " well... If you want to know that bad... I'll tell you. Come on. Let's go in your room."

I turned back around and walked toward her room and she ran after me laughing and saying "yes!"

After I told Carmen everything that had just happened, she kinda just gave me the "holy shit " look.

I have to say I was giving her the "I know right" look back at her.

I never imagined saying what I just said. But I'm glad I got say it.
