I ran off to the gym but, nobody was there. Then to the hallway..

'Hey Mat...' Carsley called
Been looking for you everywhere.

Gosh!!!
'Carsley you can't believe what just happened... I'm going to kill her..' I said

'No you won't'..
I looked back... Oh my Adams!
I hugged him its been a long while.. Yeah but you look cuter...he said

Helloooo.. I'm here Carsley whispered

Hey Adams this is Carsley my best friend. Carsley, Adams I said introducing them.
'I guess someone already stole your heart then. I was too late'.. Adams said.

I know you're wondering who Adam is? Yeah he was my crush when I was a bit younger maybe 4 I guess. He used to live in my neighborhood till he's family moved. They always move like as if someone or something was trailing them. But that wasn't my problem to deal with so I never cared.

"Yeah I guess so" carsley said. Then she pulled me as we walked down the hallway.
"Cars you won't believe it.. That drama bitch told Kevin what happened to my parents.." I said.

Shit, I knew that girl couldn't be trusted. So what do we do now?? She'll probably be home.
Yeah I guessed that too. Well I'll see her tomorrow and when I do she'll hate me for the rest of her days here at MacFarlane.

Yay..... That's the spirit can't wait for the Mortal combat.. Finish her ha ha ha ..... She said

We both laughed as we entered the car. I drove to Carsley's house and then home.
When I got home, Jojo was eating pizza he's favorite.. We all ate eventually and then I slept off.

It was past six.
"Mat, hey...Mat get up".
"What is with you deck its not yet 6:30am ...Leave me alone okay.. I want to sleep please"... I said.

'No.. Get up you lazy niece.'
"Oh Declan what!! Can't you just let me sleep a little more?.
'Carsley said she needs a ride and you don't want to be late on your first day right?' he said.

'Yeah not as if its something to be proud of without my mom...' I muttered.
Yeah and about Ashley I totally forgot it..
I got into the shower, brushed my teeth and put on make up. My denim jeans with a purple drape top and a pair of converse shoe. Got my keys and whoosh.. I was off.

Morning Mrs Williams. I greeted Carsley's mom.
Hey.. Matilda how are you doing?
I'm better.. I said
'Oh that's good to know, take care girls she said hugging' Carsley.
"Hey Mat you're late.." She said as she walked right to the car.
'I miss my mom'.. I said..
'Mat... Not the right time for that.. We have school remember' She said.

At school
'Carsley wait up' I shouted.
We both walked to our lockers just right beside each other.
Then we met up with Adams.

'Hey Mat, Cars.. Information technology???'
'Yeah its our course too tag along okay'. Carsley said acting like the boss

I'm the boss you know.. I muttered.

We walked together to class and then back to our lockers then something terrible happened.

"Mat..hey wait up"
'Mat, Cars chill I've been looking for you girls everywhere. Ashley said.
'Yeah what for?' I said turning around.

'What do you mean what for Mat?..'
This time as she asked, Carsley gave her a bitchy stare.

'I'm your friend remember?' Ashley said

Friends keep secret and last time I checked you ain't that person who can..
"Oh I get it".
.. Its about Kevin right?. I just told him what happened I mean he loves you..
Ashley shut up okay... I said angrily.
'Yeah not my fault that your parent died anyway she whispered..' But I heard.

Then I slapped her without hesitating and soon we started fighting.
Adams interfered and so did Carsley he held me back but I guess he couldn't hold Carsley back. When he finally got us to stop, Ashley already had a black eye and she was bleeding crazily from her lips.

When I looked at Ashley I felt sorry for her. She has learnt not to mess with me today and soon She'll be seeing what I and Carsley are capable of. Tears were rolling down her cheeks as Adams walked trying to assist her to get up from the floor.

People kept staring and soon I got disgusted, banged my locker and then I and Carsley walked away from the scene.

Adams consoled her. He was the nice shitty type so I wasn't surprised.

'Mat... What happened..?' Kevin asked
'Oh go check for yourself Carsley said as I laughed'.

I walked off to the cafeteria alone and sat down while Carsley went to get something we both could eat

"Hey Mat you need to apologize..'
I looked up to see who was talking but before I could say anything Carsley did.
'Sorry to burst your bubbles cute boy but... No'.. She said.

He looked at the both of us and laughed.
You two are really something but I love it.

' I don't feel bad for her any bit Cars she started it anyway. I just wanted to give her a piece of my mind to let her know she couldn't get away with everything'.
'Go girl.. ride on.. I'll support you either way' Carsley said.

Adams kept staring at the both of us and then smiled. So what caused all these he asked?.

Then Carsley looked at me... As I kept quiet, giving her this he shouldn't know face...
'Mat mom had a crash and Ashley had to open her big mouth.

Carsley what!!! I said
'If you keep acting this way ull never get over it' She said.
It's nothing to be proud off I said.
So... Be who you want to be Adams said. Situations don't define you, its how you face them that matters.

Yayyy.. Nerd boy just dropped a nice speech .. Carsley teased.
Smh I'm no nerd.
I smiled as Carsley hugged me..
What no hugs for me!! ... Adams said.
Yeah no hugs for you baby..and then we all laughed ..
