We hung Carsley's posters everywhere. People stared at them, it was so unique they said.. And I could feel like we were winning already.

Adams also made badges for Carsley while Luke and I shared flyers for Carsley.
Vote Carsley for President we said handing out the flyers.

'Did you Guys notice that everybody has being talking about me'...Carsley said.
Yeah that's right.. I said.
I'm popular she said hugging Luke.
He smiled.. Hugging her back.
Finally... Adams said.
Why did u say that?
No I meant finally the two of them agreed to like each other.. He said as I shook my head.

Other campaigns were hung up but ours, was way unique.. And this made other contestants upset.

'So you're running for president, huh!!'
We all turned back... Yeah Rachel the school bitch.

"Why do you have a problem with that,?" Carsley asked.
'No I don't. Just wanted you to know your place.. You don't belong here so back off!.'
"Really huh..." Adams said.
'Its okay, guys'... I said.
Good.. That would be all.. Rachel said looking down on us.

"Sacred to loose huh!" I said giggling.
Did u say something?.
'I never loose okay especially not to people like you'.
I'm not so sure you should say that.. Cause soon enough you'd know how it feels to loose.
Then we all laughed...
She grinned and walked away.....

'Sighs, She's got some nerves..' Carsley said. I would have given her a punch.
No you won't ... Luke said.. You need to keep up a good relationship to earn votes.
Yeah you do have a point Luke.. Guess all we need right now is one more write up... I said smiling..

Rachel is tough... Ashley is neater. Carsley for president, Carsley is sweeter.
 

Perfect..Adams said as he stared at me..

Nothing he said.. I'd just put this up.
Yeah right.

"Rachel was freaking out... She hated the new write up..." Adams said..
Then we all smiled.. That serves her right I said
... So cars.. The speech is tomorrow we got to prepare..
'Yeah and make promises you can keep..' Luke said

- we can wear shirts that have words on      them once in a week.
- have a class picnic once in a month.
- everyone gets three warnings before detention
- get kids to pick up litter.
- give soda money to charity.

'Cool..' Luke said
Yeah its cool...Carsley said.
Then we  pasted it on the school notice board.. So did all the nominees.

It was Friday.. Time for all the shitty  interview... Ashley was first and I wanted to hear what she had to say.

Reporter:   why would you make the best    president?
Ashley;      if a president looks good, then we'd all look great.

Wtf! Carsley said.. I don't want to ever look like her.
Then we all laughed..
 
Reporter: what about doing the job.
Ashley;    that's one thing I'm great at!

'Yeah at being a drama queen..' Carsley yelled.
Then everyone in the cafeteria laughed.

Reporter: Zack why should you be president.
Zack:  I can get everyone to do things since they like me
Reporter: don't kids like other candidates?
Zack:   I really don't know.

Reporter; why should we elect you.
Rachel:  a president has to be tough, I'm tough.
Reporter; what makes a good President?
Rachel; I'll tell what makes a bad President, Ashley is too stuck up. Zack thinks been president is all about football and Carsley... Carsley is a push over.

'Geez. She made  Carsley sound like a wimp... That's so unfair it wasn't even true,' I said

Its okay Mat.. I'm next that's all that matters.
Good luck girl.. We all said.

Reporter: why would you make a good president?
Carsley: I'd show up, I work hard and I have good qualities and skills.
Reporter: do you think other candidates are lazy and stupid?
Carsley; maybe, I just know Rachel doesn't have any skill for being president and Ashley thinks being president is all about looking good.
Reporter: so you think you can do a better job?
Carsley: yes I can with the help of my friends.
Reporter: anything else to say?
Carsley: no!.

That was good. Adams said.
Yeah.. I guess so.
The elections were going to start soon... And I was still carrying a poster that had
       Vote
            Carsley
                  For
                      President!.

Then I saw martins and he's friend carrying a poster that said:

SHORT KIDS FOR CARSLEY!..

We were all happy... Other kids had posters for Carsley...

ACADEMIC CLUB SUPPORTS CARSLEY!

Mat.. I guess a lot of kids are glad that an ordinary girl is running..
'Thank you so much guys.. I'm not a loser even if we don't win the elections'...Carsley said.

The elections went just like everyone expected.
The athletes voted for  Zack, the in crowd for Ashley, Rachel's clique voted  her while everyone else voted for Carsley..
But everyone else was a lot of votes.

Carsley won!..
Her name was announced.. She was so happy so was I.. Maybe proud of myself too..
Adams smiled so did Luke and that was it, Carsley was president.
