Chapter... 5? Yeah.
We studied the pictures and went out to investigate the people who knew him, but almost all said they hadn't seen him since he went to juvy. We hit a dead end again. Groaning with frustration, we walked toward home, but suddenly someone tackled me to the ground in a blur of brown hair. A red vest covered my vision, coco boots before me.
"Ohmygosh its you guys!!" she gasped.
"Vulx?" Kipz asked.
"Cookie?!" i exclaimed. She smiled and nodded and helped me up, hugging Kipz, Gabby and Cloud.
"You got here? From Kentucky?"
"Yep! Took me almost a year, but i made it!!" she said, smiling. We smiled too.
"The police told me about what happened, and i think i can help!" she said. She pulled out a file with a address on it.
"It's the last deal he made, before he died. He shipped out some weapons to a "Robert Keith". This is where he lives."
"Cookie, this is amazing!" Gabby shouted.
Looks like we had a break in the case.
We showed Cookie where she would sleep in the house and ate while discussing the case.
"What if we go tonight?" Cloud suggested.
"Yeah, lets do that!" Kipz exclaimed. We all agreed. Tonight...
