Chapter SCREW IT

We grabbed a duffel bag and went to the police station. They let us in easily and headed to Felix and Cry's office. They had pistols on their desk.

"Take one." Cry said gravely.

"Are you serious?! Real guns?!" Cloud gasped. Kipz and Gabby picked up one and started pretending to shoot each other. I picked up one and turned it in my hand, but Vulx smacked it away from me.

"Bad Skittles!" she said with a smirk. I sighed.

"Why do we need them?" Cloud asked.

"Because the Late Nighters are notoriously dangerous, and won't take kindly to us being there. Especially since i'm going with you." Cry said. We nodded. Felix picked up a set of car keys and we followed him to a black Chevrolet parked up front. It was a long drive to their hide-out, until finally we stopped at the front of a warehouse.

Cry got out first, then Felix. We slowly got out of the car and followed them to the door.

"Play it cool." Cry said carefully. We opened the door and saw several people inside. My heart shot into my neck and choked me.

"Who are you?" a guy with a fro-hawk asked.

"We're here for a few questions." Felix said. The guy pulled out a bigger gun then out pistols.

"And i have one answer, get the fuck out." he said. The others looked on and pulled out guns as well.

"Listen, just tell us who and what Barth Nickel was doing here!" Kipz called. They froze for a moment.

"What do you have know? Barth was a dealer like us, traded guns with the Bros and back, but something went wrong. Obviously he got killed, gotta say i knew it was coming." A guy with short brown hair and beard said.

"Why do you-"

"Their cops Yamimash!" Fro-hawk shouted. Everyone became alert again and started shooting. We ducked behind a crate and hid our heads down.

"Oh god we're going to DIE!!" Vulx shouted over gunfire.

"Hide down kids, we're handling it!" Felix shouted. He and Cry jumped over the boxes and started shooting back. We huddled in a circle and sobbed quietly. I felt something hard at my foot and realized.

"The guns! We can help!" Kipz shouted before me. We picked them up and carefully shot over the box, avoiding bullets. We didn't look over, only blindly shooting. Suddenly the sound of tires squealing and driving away and the gunfire ceased. We slowly got up. Felix stood alone in the warehouse.
