Somewhere out in the vast universe of space, there is a house. Not situated on a planet, mind you, but just floating about without a care in the world.
This house does not look particularly interesting from the outside, but if you are curious enough to knock on the door (and of course, receive no answer) and brave enough to walk inside, you will see many wonders.
Are you brave enough to trespass? Of course you are. You can stand to take a break...
In a dark passageway, you see three small shapes near the one source of light you suppose is a door. You make your way closer and you see a strange sight: a bright pink pig, a small blue bunny rabbit, and a pug who looks ready to chew off your leg.
"He-hello?" You ask silently half hoping they won't hear, unafraid of what might happen.
The pug leaves the other two to come up to you. He takes his time sniffing you, trying to determine your intent. Seemingly satisfied, he moves to the side to let you continue down the corridor and towards the mysterious light.
You walk quickly forward (I hope he doesn't bite me ) as the animals look curiously on.
As you approach the doorway you hear a light breathing and the scratchy strains of ukelele music.
You halt, startled, because there inside the room is a massive orange dragon sleeping.
At this point you begin to think you should maybe turn around and leave this strange place because you don't feel like waking him up and becoming toast.
But something inside of you is stopping you from doing that. You're curious, true, but you also realize this is the most fun you've had in ages. ( Searching for space treasure on your own is not as fun as it sounds.)
You creep forward, expecting any minute that he'll destroy you but he only lifts his head slightly and grunts. Relieved, you begin to notice the rest of the room.
Imagine any fairy tale with secret gardens, fairies, castles, beautiful princesses and the like. Anything that comes to mind is what this room was like. Glowing lights float all around you and along with the ukelele you hear tiny bells. There are flowers hidden in corners and vines growing along the pale brick. You notice that this room HAS to be bigger on the inside than you initially thought and your eyes shine with the beauty of it. The floor is glass and you can see creatures swimming below you. Coral and seaweed dot the ocean(?) floor. You wonder how this is even possible but before you can continue admiring this fantastic room you hear a gentle voice from the corner of the room.
"So, you've come at last."
There was an intricately carved throne and thousands of cushions of varying shapes and sizes laying about it and on it. And upon it sat a young woman. She had long black hair and a sheer dress with flowers naturally woven throughout. But on her head.....was that a.....crab hat?
"We've been waiting for you a very long time."
Authors Note: My writing skills are SO rusty, but I had a lot of fun writing this random snippet. I feel like most of it raises more questions than it answers but I kind of like the mystery. Hope you enjoy and feel free to leave your thoughts and criticisms in the comments. I can take it. XD
