Killua,Gon,Kurapika, and Leorio were eating lunch in a small cafe when something interesting happened. Gon made a snide remark about how Killua mumbled in his sleep about Gon. Killua, beginning to become flustered, stuttered and blushed brightly. Now, this was normal for the friends but it was happening more often now. Kurapika had begun to notice the way the boys looked at each other when they thought no one was watching. He knew the feelings they had for each other. He was determined to set them up together. They had done the same for him and Leorio, so he decided it was time for payback!
Making sure no one watched him leave, he swiftly walked out of his and Leorio's apartment. Making his way to Gon and Killua's apartment, he began to think about his plan. It was to sneak in and set up cameras, and talk them into telling about their feelings using the footage on the camera to confirm his guess if needed.
As he walked up he saw that Gon and Killua were both gone. Perfect. He quickly used the spare key they had given him to open the door. Soon he was placing the cameras in locations they would not uncover until long after the plan had taken it's course. After he was done, he quickly locked the door and began walking home.
Suddenly, he spotted Gon and Killua walking towards him clueless, as they were busy staring at the others butt. 'Geez, do they not notice each others staring?' Kurapika thought. Ducking into a alley, as not to be seen, he listened in on their conversation.
"Some fangirl tried to get me to go out with her today" Killua said lightly, fishing for the facial expression Gon would make. 'Goddammit Killua! You're trying to make him jealous! That'a boy!' Kurapika thought eagerly. "E-H NANI?" Gon about shouted. Calming himself Gon asked quietly, "What did you say...?". "Told her I wasn't interested" Killua stated happily. Now as they walked to their apartment, Kurapika fanboyed- oh excuse me, Kurtas don't fanboy- over the interaction.
As Kurapika walked into his and Leorio's apartment, he was greeted with a quick hug and peck on the lips as Leorio scrambled out the door. "Leorio..?" Kurapika asked. "We got an emergency at the hospital" he answered."Oh! Hope everything's alright dear!" he said as Leorio closed the door.
Knowing this as his chance he pulled his phone out of his pocket, and began to text Gon. -Gon would you mind coming over for a minute?- he texted. -Yeah sure! Be over in five- Gon texted back.
And five minutes later there he was, sitting on Kurapika's couch. "So... Gon, do you like Killua" Kurapika asked. "Well yeah! He's my best friend!" Gon answered. Kurapika was not convinced with his answer. "Gon, you know what I mean" he said with a smirk. "Fine... Yeah I do like him... no, I love him..." Gon said quietly. "I KNEW IT!" Kurapika stood up to do a victory dance -oh, excuse me. Apparently Kurtas do not do victory dances either-. "Pika, you can't tell him!" Gon said quickly. Kurapika face palmed. "Gon you do realize he feels the same..? How about asking him out?" Kurapika asked. Considering this Gon replied with a smile"Alright! I'll give it a try"
Little did he know, that would be the start to a beautiful realationship.
