chapter 8 the truth

Akita's POV

I hugged Bruno tigher, crying not able to ask him the truth I am dying for. What is he really? Is he even human? Why was I in so much pain last night? Why does he always smell so good all the time? That one I wanted to know myself. Feeling shy around the pack I huddled closer to Bruno as he moved us from underneath the table. I wrapped my legs around his waist and hid my face in the crook of his neck as he tried to get me to calm down slowly. I take deep breaths in and out. "Bruno I don't want to go back" I said.

He looks at me in the eyes "don't worry princess he won't be near you at all once I'm done" Bruno says softly.

I nodded quietly thinking for a moment "t-take me h-ome" I whispered.

"Sir, your bubbletea is ready" a waitress says bowing handing  one of Bruno's men called Sung-hyung the coconut vallina bubble tea.

Sung-hyung handed me the bubbletea while saying, "here my lady, don't cry it makes us sad to see our luna cry. It makes us feel like there something we did wrong to you and we don't want Bruno getting upset, to be honest Bruno is such an angery crier" trying to get me to laugh and it worked. I giggled at brunos face and sipped on the tea and smiled.

Bruno smiled brightly with me in his arm and carried me out to the car putting me in the passenger seat while the pack filed in the back. Bruno sat in the drivers away as I look out the window I felt someone's hand on my tigh. I look over to see Bruno hand gently on my tigh and I smiled calmly feeling safe but I felt even safer when he pulled me over onto his lap and I look at him blushing. He had me lay my head on his chest with his legs inbetween mine. I heard the pack members laughing.

"Get a room!" Sung-hyung said.

"Please not in the car!" Another shouts.

Bruno chuckled and carried on driving as I blushed hard and I pulled on his t-shirt a little. "Trying to give them a show?"he winks at me

"N-no just trying to hide my face." I replied. Bruno looks at me and I went off "eyes back on the road mister!". His eyes went back to the road. I sighed and laid my head back on his chest. I look at his knuckles on his right hand and they are bruised. 'thats what I must've felt but how?' I wonder. "Hey Bruno what are you?"I asked finalizing the courage I had deep inside.

Bruno stopped the car and had the pack out  of the car "if you want to go you can but the thing is you are one too"he said and I nodded confused 'yea I know I'm humam' thought. "I am half wolf and half human"he says slowly. It took me a moment to process.

"Uh huh?"I say crossing my arms.

Bruno asked "do you want me to show you that werewolves are real?" I nod and Bruno nods to Sung-hyung and sung-hyung shifts into a beautiful brown wolf. I stared at him with my jaw down. I moved uncomfortably in brunos lap as the others shifted to and ran into the forest. Bruno looks at me scared of what my move will be. Run or stay? I sat closer to him .

"Why can't I shift? Why is it I feel pain when you get hurt? Why is your scent the most wonderful smelling one like I a Why do I always feel pain that's almost makes me pass out for twelve hours?"I asked shaking wanting his comfort. "Why is it I can sense things that are far away?"I continued.

Bruno cuts me off with me answers "you haven't shifted yet? And that because we are mates. Because again mates. And the pain is when we haven't mated or marked each other. The last question is because you are a werewolf too."he says only the basic things. I look at him scared and nuzzled into his chest. "You're not scared?"he asked.

"I am scared Bruno I am. I'm scared of what will happen to you. I'm scared of what going to happen in the future once Every one find out that I am what I am. What if I can't speak in front of the pack because of my anxiety around groups?"I said looking at him.

He hugged me "Dont worry I'll be by your side every step of the way."
