Jeremy's POV
"Bonnie ?" I question quite loudly, she turns and Jade lurches up in my arms eyes snapping open, showing her blue eyes now yellow, growling in obvious terror. I place her feet gently on the floor, wrapping my arms around her waste to keep her upright. Her hands spring to my neck, wrapping around loosely.
*. *. *. *.
"I thought I asked you to stay?!" Her voice breaks the silence while her hand wraps loosely around my wrist. My head swings to face her then back to Josh.
"It's okay. Stay with her, I have to talk to the others anyway." I nod, turning back to the bed as the light switches off.
Jade's POV
Oww, why does my head hurt?
And why am I so warm ?.
This is nice. Who's bed is this ?
My pillow isn't this hard!
My eyes flutter, trying to block out the sunlight that's streaming through my bedroom window.
Wait what ?
I'm in my room!!
How the bloody hell did I get here?
My pillow is moving, I twist my neck to look up. Jeremy Gilbert is in my bed!
Why is this really cute looking practically stranger in my bed with me? And why would my brother let that?
"You going to stare at me all morning or what?" That snaps me out of whatever trance his beautiful face put me under. I barely know the guy.
"I was just wondering why you are in my bed?" Two can play that game.
"You asked me to stay. Last night" his voice turning serious. what? Seriously! "You don't remember?" I WHAT ??
"What happened last night?!
All I remember is being at school with you, Bonnie, Alaric and Damon and that was the afternoon." I passed out, that's the only logical explanation, right?
"You... um... I-i think we need to talk with your brother and everyone else downstairs" this is sounding a lot more serious.
***** Time Skip*****
I jump off the last step and turn to wait for Jeremy, he said he needed a few minutes to collect himself. Whatever for? I have no idea, I'm the one who's half werewolf and half something else.
*knock* *knock* *knock*
Who's possibly at the door? I take the few steps to the front door, twisting open the deadbolt and then the handle. Opening the door wide I see a figure walking down the front steps,
"Hey" my voice is soft, the figure turns her blonde hair flying around her face catching in her mouth making her cough and splutter bringing her hands to face pulling the hair away.
"Hey there Jade" Justyna states in a melancholy voice, taking the few steps up to meet me at the door. I wave, turning to shut the door so we can talk in private.
"Hey, are you okay?" She sits down on the steps, taking a deep breath.
"So... um... my parents sort of... kicked me out" she whispers, placing her head in her hands. I bend down resting my hands on her shoulders,
"Hey, it's okay. I'll ask my aunt if you can stay with us, I'm sure she'll say yes" Justyna just looks at me with surprise.
