Recap of 'The Journey...' Skip if necessary.
There were quiet steps coming down the stairs. "Ahhhh, Evita how lovely of you to join us!"
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Chase blush a little as she walked very gracefully across the hall.
"Oh." She exclaimed as she suddenly saw me. "And who, are you?"
Chapter 5:
"I am-"
"This is Olivia" Queen Elena interrupted. "She will be staying with us for a little while." She was making it sound like I actually wanted to be here.
"Actually I was asleep in my room then Chase walked in rather casually into my room and told me we have to go." I said putting emphasis on the casually.
"Um, well something like that." Chase muttered.
"Well then," The girl who was seemed to be called Evita started. She was looking me up and down. Sizing me up I supposed. "I am Princess Evita." Of course. Princess. I turned away and rolled my eyes at her.
"Ok, lets move on." Said Chase quickly obviously seeing a argument was going to break out.
He somehow quickly showed me around the huge palace, all of the rooms were made of diamond or crystal. He then showed me up a narrow staircase that was in a separate part of the palace that looked a bit like a massive tower.
He showed me to my room which was at the top of the tower. "If you want anything then just ring the bell." On the little table next to my bed ,which seemed unnecessarily large, there was a tiny little bell. It looked rusty like it had never been used. The room was very plain. There were no pictures except one which almost escaped my notice.
It was a drawing of a huge oak tree. Normally I would have just ignored it, but I decided to ask Chase about it at dinner. Something about it made me curious.

"Are you alright Livi?" Queen Elena's clear mysterious voice echoed across the huge marble dining table. I knew I was picking at my food, but it was because of the glare that Evita was giving me. She was still judging me and I had no idea why she was acting so cold to me.Rolling my eyes I turned around and tried to ignore her. I was annoyed and feeling slightly homesick; I just wanted to go home. Suddenly anger hit me. I was so annoyed that these people had just kidnapped me and expected me to be so alright with it. I scraped my chair pushing myself away from the table and slammed my cutlery down. I stormed out of the dining room. I didn't know where I was going. All I knew is I had to get away from here. Running through the palace, I found a secret door that was covered by a large plant. Pushing the plant out of my way, I slowly creeped through the secret passage.
Suddenly all of my anger was replaced with curiosity. I kept walking down the passage, which seemed to be getting bigger and bigger the darker you go. At the end I saw a glowing light. I grabbed my phone from my back pocket (which I have been keeping there the whole time,) and turned the light on. When I had eventually reached the end I saw what the huge glowing light seemed to be. It was a huge fire. Gasping I seriously considered running away, but I realised I had come this far and would not be able to sleep tonight if I didn't find out what was behind that door. I could almost hear my heart beating as I walked up to the blazing fire. Slowing down as I reached it, I looked down and there was a huge deep pit full of...
