Eli came to school with a few bruises, which he refused to explain where he got them from. Damien tried making him happy, since he seemed not blank as usual, but sad. He had let two tears slip by in the past three hours. That was a record. Zayne was determined to get to the bottom of it, so after school they all went to RPG club and began playing around. In the middle of the club, Zayne brought him to the side and started asking questions. Eli never looked at him once.
"Dude what's wrong with you?" Zayne asked.
"Nothing," Eli replied, still not looking at him.
"Stop lying. You're not telling us something important that you found last night. What is it?" Zayne pushed forward.
"I'm not telling."
"Oh come on. Stop acting like a three year old and just tell us. We're supposed to not have any secrets," Zayne kept on.
"It's personal," Eli replied suddenly.
"Well it's our issue now. You can't keep secrets from us anymore," Zayne told him.
"NO IT'S NOT! I CAN'T GET YOU GUYS MIXED UP IN THIS!" Eli shouted at Zayne, then bursting into a sprint out the door with his stuff.
