Ancient Forces - Break Down [Intellect]

The Next Morning...

The next morning was slow. It was as if time itself had slowed down. Zayne was bored. More interestingly though, was that Eli seemed more happy and cheerful than Zayne had thought possible. Eli was cracking jokes, roasting people at school, and even revealed to everyone that he too, was a hero. It was odd to see Eli in such a cheerful mood. It was a if he was carrying a heavy burden, and then he just dropped it and left. Zayne had to be happy though. He never thought Eli would change from his darker ways. After a school, the group was walking home when Eli made a pun towards Zayne.

Zayne chased both Eli and Damien home after that. Eli was officially on Zayne's 'Punishment List.' When they got home, Ver seemed to be even happier too. Maybe it was just because Eli was more happier, but everything seemed more lively and interactive. All seemed, for the first time, normal and right in the world. It was late at night, and everyone was tire from their fun and games they had. They all went to bed happy and relaxed that night. It was fun, and Zayne knew it was gonna be awesome tomorrow. He knew that bad things would happen, but until then, he was gonna have as much as he could.
