The long, almost invisible from the darkness and emptiness of space, the Cosmic Dragon flew by. The portal he had entered now closing down and blipping out of existence. The dragon looked down at the planet below, Earth, the gleaming blue marble in the vast ocean of space. His scales glistened in the sunlight that beamed past the Earth. A smile grew across the dragon's face. He had finally arrived.
"Finally. It took a long time," the dragon said, "and it took a lot of sacrifice."
He sat in space, looking off. Then, re returned his gaze back to Earth. A single tear rolled down his face. It froze and started floating away.
"It's going to take even more sacrifice to make sure this happens. Thank you, Eli, for leaving your trail. Now I can use that to end this. I can finally kill myself and Damien, and prevent any of this from ever happening."
