~Chapter 9~

Gray's Pov Once More, 

Gajeel, Juvia and I had gotten to the battle zone to see Erza laying on the snow. She was covered in bruises and some burns. What worried us most was blood coming down the side of her face and starting to stain the snow her head was on. E.N.D was smirking at us his arms were burst on fire shaped as claws. "Little miss Scarlet made me go full out. That is rare. Scarlet has impressed me" E.N.D spoke as we saw his teeth were now sharp and now in a shark type shape. This wasn't the Natsu we knew.

"Juvia is slightly scared Gray-Sama" Juvia spoke as honest truth was that I was also scared. He was able to defeat Erza. She was out for the count. My hands turned into fist as my tattoo started to grow and glow. "Juvia keep Erza safe. Gajeel we gotta keep him busy" I then spoke still taking charge. It was different to be in control but in same time I didn't have a problem doing it. Juvia was scared but nodded as Gajeel didn't show any fear. That was unless you saw his eyes. He was scared, we all were.

Taking down Erza and to see how badly hurt she was, something like that, no one was able to do. "I do not care for any of you. I just want the Celestail Mage back" E.N.D spoke as more rage was built inside of me. He was doing something to Lucy as it was. I wasn't going to let him hurt her. "Ice-Make: Freeze Lancer" I nearly shouted sending huge lances toward E.N.D shocking both Gajeel and Juvia for a second but they soon moved. Juvia went to Erza's side to protect and help her.

Gajeel was running toward E.N.D as my lances had pushing him backwards and I saw slightly hurt his arm. He then was doing close combat with Gajeel as I moved in also. I made ice swords in my hands as Gajeel turned one of his hands into an iron sword. Both of us were attacking E.N.D who was able to move around and block our attacks. He was shocked slightly as I saw Juvia was making sure that it was safe to move Erza. Juvia knew she had to get Erza away from this fight. Gajeel was hit with black flames sending him flying into a pile of snow.

"Gajeel" Juvia and I both nearly shouted as he was down looking badly in pain as Juvia rushed to check on him. As E.N.D pushed me back, I was able to see he was very hurt. Gajeel was fully out. I was glaring toward E.N.D as I was unable to see anything of Natsu left. I was unable to sense that idiot anymore. He lost the fight. The right side of my skin turned pitch black as I felt my own magic taking control. E.N.D and I rushed at each other. Both of us were going to swing with our right hands. 

Well I called his a hand when in fact was a claw. Within a second we was both stopped as Erza was between us. Both E.N.D and I were in shock as she had her arms crossed. Her right hand catching my fist that had turned a part of her arm into ice. The ice itself cracking. Her left hand had caught E.N.D's claw that had burnt a part of her arm. She took both our attacks. Both were very powerful as the blast from it sent me and E.N.D backwards. This pushed up before back as Erza was taking heavy breaths.

"Natsu is in there" Erza spoke weakly toward me as I was staring at her shocked. She looked so weak and in so much pain as E.N.D was in shock also. "I heard his voice" Erza then spoke as hands dropping to her sides as she was shaking slightly. I was calming my own magic own while breathing heavy as it wanted to attack. It wanted E.N.D dead. Erza lifted her head toward E.N.D. Blood going down her left side of her face. "He needs us to help push him" Erza then spoke as she was able to make a sword in her hand.

My eyes widen in fear to see that she wanted to keep going. She wanted to keep fighting. E.N.D was shocked but then burst out laughing. "You are at deaths door and you keep going?" he then asked loudly while trying to calm himself down. My right arm was shaking slightly as Erza closed her eyes and smirked. "I will keep fighting. I will fight until my last breath. The pain you think you have done to me is nothing compared to losing a comrade" Erza spoke as Juvia was helping Gajeel on his feet.

Erza's smirk grew. "I WILL BEAT YOUR ASS UNTIL YOU SNAP OUT OF THIS NATSU" Erza shouted as she then moved faster than I was able to see. E.N.D himself was unable to as Erza was behind him and stabbing him through the shoulder. E.N.D hissed in pain as pure rage was now on his face as he went to turn around and attack Erza once more. She was moving so much faster than him and kept attacking from different points. Cuts showing up all over E.N.D's body as Erza's body was giving off a golden glow.

"Damn it Erza" I muttered as I rushed in as I threw a punch at E.N.D. With him being so busy trying to block Erza I was able to land my hit. It pushed him back and trapped his body in ice. "I won't hold long we need to get to the guild if you want to save him" I then spoke as Erza was next to me. Her sword vanished as she started to fall forward. I moved fast catching her as Juvia was helping Gajeel move. I ended up carrying Erza as we was heading to the train station as fast as we could. I was unsure on what was to happen.

He wanted Lucy. 

I was confused on why.

I wished....

I wished I was able to see what was to happen...
