Still into you (A Quick love story)

Chapter 3

Quinn adjusted the strap on the dress that Kurt forced her to wear for the first step of operation quick is endgame. She was wearing a pink low cut dress that showed a lot of cleavage that Quinn was totally uncomfortable showing that much off. She pulled up to Pucks house at around 8 o'clock to pick up Beth. She knocked on the door and Puck opened the door dress in a plain top and jeans.

"Hey Quinn." He said greeting her.

"Hi Puck." She said awkwardly because they haven't spoken since Puck told her he was getting married.

"Beth just fell asleep, she had a busy day of finishing her project." Puck said taking a seat on his couch.

"I'll let her sleep for a little while." Quinn replied sitting next to Puck.

"So how'd you spend your weekend?" Puck asked.

"I hung out with Kurt and Tina and I gotta say they were... surprised about your engagement." Quinn said raising her eyesbrows.

"Everyone was My mom and sister were pissed off to say the least." Puck said.

"Why?" The blond asked.

"Because they always wanted us two to end up together." The man replied.

"I think everyone did." Quinn said looking down.

"Anyway Mrs. Bethany Puckerman finished her project." Puck said picking up an A3 piece of pink cardboard.

"Wow! " Quinn said taking the cardboard into her hand. "This one is my favourite picture of the three of us." She said pointing at picture of the three before senior prom, smiling not knowing days later they would let go of eachother forever.

"We didn't even show up." Puck said. "You were to worried something would happen to Beth." He laughed.

"You were the one who kept making up scenarios of what could go wrong." Quinn said. "We won prom king and queen and we wern't even there to accept our crowns." She said. "We didn't get to dance either." Quinn said putting the cardboard down.

Puck got up and put on 'something stupid' and put his hand out for Quinn to take his hand.

"What are we doing." Quinn asked raising her eyebrow.

"We are going to dance now because we didn't get to at Prom." Puck replied and the blond grabbed his hand and the pair started slow dancing with one another.

"This is our song." Quinn wispered in his ear.

"I know." He wispered back sending shiveres down Quinns spin.

'And then I go And spoil it all By saying something stupid Like I love you.' Puck sang into Quinns ear. Electricity ran through my body and they  looked into each others eyes and we both leant in.

"Hey mommy." Beth said rubbing her eyes interrupting Quinn and Pucks moment.

"Hey sweetie. Your daddy was just showing me your school project." Quinn said moving away from Puck and picking up the six year old.

"Okay! Mommy you look really pretty today. Doesn't she daddy?" Beth said and Quinn gave her a look and the small girl wiggled her eyebrows.

"She does, she looks beautiful." Puck said.

"It's getting kinda late baby, do you wanna go?" Quinn asked her daughter.

"No, i want you and daddy to sing me to sleep." Beth replied.

"Beth it's Sunday you have school Tommorow." Quinn said.

"She can sleep here again today. Give you more time to relax and we can sing to her." Puck said.

"Fine but you have to take her to school Tommorow Puck and I'll pick her up Tommorow." Quinn said.

"Alright. Now munchkin let's get you to bed." Puck said picking up Beth and puting her in to her bed.

"Any sing suggestions Mrs Bethany?" Quinn asked sitting next to Puck on the side of Beth's bed.

"Somewhere over the rainbow." The six year old said eagerly.

A million memories flooded into Quinns mind. Puck sang that song with Mr Schuester after Beth was born...That's when they were happy together, Quinn would do anything to go back to that moment.

By then end of the first verse the six year old was sound asleep.

Quinn and Puck walked back into the living room.

"You still have a great voice." Quinn said.

"You're not so bad yourself Fabray." Puck said.

"Hey baby." A loud aboxious voice said. "Oh hey Quinn." The voice said.

"Jessica, always a pleasure." The blond rolled her eyes.

"Puck told you about us getting married right?" Jessica said showing Quinn the rock on her finger while Quinn nodded awkwardly longing that the roles were reversed. "Isn't it great?" The brunette asked enthusiastically.

"Great." Quinn replied biting her tongue. "I have to go." The blond quickly said.

"Really?" Puck asked sounding upset.

"Yeah I have to get up early for work Tommorow." Quinn replied

"See you." Jessica said punishing Quinn out of the door.

"I'll walk her to her car." Puck said.

"No its fine." Quinn said.

"No i want to." Puck said smiling.

"Seriously Puck it's fine." Quinn replied.

"Yeah she said it's fine." Jessica said putting her hand on her fiancé's chest.

"No I'm walking her to her car." Puck said and took Quinns hand and leading her to her car. "I'm really sorry about Jessica." He said opening Quinns car door.

"You're the one marrying her, I'm sorry about her." Quinn said with a laugh and Puck sighed. "Do you not wanna marry her? You can't marry so fine you don't love." Quinn said Hopeful that he will tell her that she loves her not Jessica.

"I'll see you Tommorow Q." Puck said and kissed her cheek.

"Yeah, I'll see you." Quinn said and got in her car and drove home wishing she could be the one marry the love her life.
