I heard while I sat at my bay window looking at the trees and cars passing by.Today was very rainy and I had nothing better to do so here I am watching the world while listening to music drinking hot chocolate.By now my song had faded out and I began to hear my brothers voice through my ear buds as 18 began to play.Without me noticing my hand made its way to my neck and began playing with my necklace Mike gave me.Its a heart that says 'brother'on it and his name on the back with a compass charm.His is the same except it says 'sister' with my name on the back.I really miss him now that I think about it.I remember the day he left like it was yesterday.I remember crying as soon as I woke up because I was losing my best friend.I remember him holding me so tight,me doing the same because we never wanted to let go or say goodbye.And I remember the promise.The promise he broke.Now when I think about it it feels as if my blood goes cold and my body goes numb.I was so lost in thought that I didn't even notice the tears coming down."Paisley sweetie I'm home,can you come down here please!"I heard my mom yell from downstairs.I paused my music and whipped my eyes.I fixed my messy bun and my top and pulled up my leggings and headed down."Mom,what are you doing home so early I thought you were working late today?"I asked very confused since she was always at the hospital."Honey,i have great news!The manager for the Color Festival (idk if that's real!) called.They saw your covers on YouTube and wanted you to open the festival!"my mom said tearing up.Wow the Color Festival.Ive dreamed of singing there since I was 10.Its really happening."Oh my god!"I yelled and my hands flew over my mouth.My mom embraced me into a hug and started to cry."Mom it's okay,please don't cry."I told her comforting her."Im sorry baby I'm just proud of you."she said and smiled."Now you head on up to your room sweet pea I think I'm gonna read my book or watch a movie."she told me and smiled while I ran up the stairs.I went to my closet and grabbed a flannel and some black shorts.I threw that on and took out my bun and left my hair down since it was wavey.I went and put on some concealer,powder,winged eye liner,mascara,and a baby pink lip stick.I set up my camera I front of my bench and grabbed my guitar.I set it all up and it record."Whats up peeps! It's Paisley and I have some AMAZING news!I found out I will be performing at THE COLOR FESTIVAL!I will also be having a meet and greet the information will be down in the description below."I said while pointing down very excited."Today I bring you another cover and I will be singing Where Ever You Are by 5 Seconds of Summer.This song just reminds me of the boys before they left and it's always been my favorite song.If you've never heard of them go listen to them they are awesome!"I said and started to strum the first chords and began to sing...
