"Hey look it's the Boss's-'', ''Stuff it.'' Edward quickly cut off Jean who just frowned, ''I was just going to say friend, lighten up...'', ''He isn't my friend.'' Edward huffed making Roy's group and Riza look at one another, ''Lighten up Ed... This is a kid's party.'' Al said nervously seeing his brother make a face in annoyance, ''Who's this?'' A small voice said making Edward look down to see a small green eyed child dressed nicely. ''Ah....'', ''This is my brother.'' Al said with a smile, ''My older brother Edward.'' He added seeing Elicia look back up and over to Edward who stood quiet when seeing the small girl look at him blankly with her large green eyes, ''...I'm Elicia! And I just turned Nine!'' The small child said happily getting Edward's hand surprising Edward at how quickly she took a liking to him, even though he hadn't said a word to her once. ''I-'', ''Where's the birthday girl.'' Roy's voice interupted making the blonde frown when the raven haired male walked towards the with Hughes and Gracia following beind him, ''Here I am!'' Elicia said letting go of Ed's hand and jumping into Roy's arm almost knocking him down, surprising Edward at how good with kids Roy was, ''Careful Elicia... You might hurt your present.'' Roy said with a laugh as he hugged the child. ''Present?'' Elicia said backing up seeing Roy smile and nod, ''But daddy says I can't open my presents yet.'' She said, ''Well opening one present won't hurt right? Besides today is your birthday.'' Roy said holding the box in front of her, ''Open it, It's from me and Edward there.'' Roy said flashing a look over to the blonde who looked way making a face as if saying, 'What did I say about bugging me?'. The small girl looked up to her parents who just nodded in approval making the small girl smile and lift the top off the present, screaming when seeing a small puppy poke out its head and bark in joy, wagging its tail, ''IT'S A PUPPY!'' Elicia screamed in joy grabbing the small tanned puppy into her arms happily making Hughes look over to Roy, ''Really...'', ''She deserves a pet of her own by now, don't you think?'' Roy said simply. ''Thank you!'' Elicia said happily to Roy, ''Her name is Butterscotch.'' Roy said with a smile, ''I'm glad you love your present.'' Surprising the group at how kind their usually hormonal friend was, ''Thank you Edward! I love her!'' Elicia said turning to Edward with a bright smile, making Edward jump up in surprise when the small girl hugged him tightly looking over to Roy who just gave him a look to at least smile for her. ''I... You're welcome Elicia.'' Edward said managing to give a kind smile to the small girl, "I'm gonna go show her to my friends!'' Elicia said in joy running off with the small puppy with Gracia following after her daughter, heaving a sigh only to hear Hughes speak, "Which one of you is going to talk?'' He asked looking over to Roy and Edward, ''Now, now... Let's just enjoy your daughter's party, yeah?'' Riza quickly said. ''Right... I almost forgot... Well you two try to get along now yeah?'' Hughes said simply looking over to Edward and Roy, ''Especially you.'' He said looking over to his friend who just smirked looking away to the annoyed blonde, ''I always do, Hughes. You know that~'' Roy said simply making Hughes shake his head before perking up when seeing Elicia run around with her new pet and almost trip face first running over immediately to her, ''Be careful Elicia!''. ''Congratulations, you almost killed a little girl with a present.'' Edward said in a monotone voice with his arms crossed, ''Aren't you just a ray of sunshine...'' Roy said back giving his attention to his group, ''Well, at least you all get a break from 'work' in the meantime, enjoy it now~'' The raven haired male said with a satisfied stretch walking away making the group sigh, ''Don't think  you're out of it Edward~'' Roy added as he walked away making the blonde regret everything. ''I hate everything.'' Edward said simply walking away making Al and Winry sigh, ''Don't worry, he'll lighten up.'' Riza said looking over when Jean spoke, ''If the boss doesn't keep bothering him that is.'' He added in, ''Look, let's just try to enjoy ourselves alright?'' RIza said looking over to Winry, holding her hand out towards her, ''Let's go see Elicia, yeah?'' Riza asked with a smile seeing WInry nod and smile blushing slightly taking her hand, ''Yeah.''. ''Those two are really together?... They practically look like twins more than girlfriends...'' Havoc commented hearing Al laugh and turn to him, ''You sound jealous.'' He said seeing Jean make a face that he was right, ''I... I'm going to go smoke somewhere else, there's a lot of kids here!'' Jean said walking off to hide his embarrassment making Al giggle more turning around when he felt a tap on his shoulder seeing Fuery looking at him worried. ''You know what Roy did to your brother right?...'', ''Hmm? Yeah... I was there...'', ''No, no. There's more.'' The small mousy male said in a small whisper, ''There's more?'', ''Yeah... Well we didn't see, but Havoc did...'' He said filling in Al about what Havoc walked in on the day Edward first arrived there, as the blonde was just watching Elicia play with her small puppy happily as her parents followed her around deciding to go inside and grab something to drink. The blonde  walked in the quiet kitchen and reached for a soda that was on the counter along with a few other drink varieties turning to go back outside before gasping in surprise when he was cornered against the wall suddenly by Roy who looked at him with a grin, ''If you were thirsty, you could of just asked me~'', ''Didn't I say to stop bothering me-!?'' Edward started but stopped when Roy leaned forward inches from his lips, making him drop the soda almost immediately when he was kissed again suddenly by the raven haired male. ''You sure let your guard down easily.'' Roy said simply when he pulled away running a finger over his lips licking them still cornering the blonde, seeing Edward make a face despite his flustered expression, opening his mouth to say something but stopped when feeling scratching on his leg, making both Roy and Edward look down to see the small tanned puppy barking at him and wagging her tail excitedly, ''Well...That must mean...'' Roy started surprised. ''Butterscotch, don't leave me like that!'' Elicia said running in the house to see Edward cornered against the wall by Roy, ''She must of gotten excited to see Edward when he walked in here.'' Roy said backing away and facing the small girl picking up puppy, and handing it to her, ''Hey...'', ''Hmm?'', ''Are you two like Miss Hawkeye and Miss Winry?'' Elicia asked making Edward's golden eyes widen, ''Mmm, no time for that, let's go back to your party yeah?'' Roy said simply walking off with Elicia leaving the blonde in the kitchen by himself again.
