I woke up to the sunlight of the day. I extended my palms out to the sparkling ball of warmth that reached into the large crevice of the cave ceiling.

I looked up to see him leaned over looking at me. “You’re finally up!” he huffed out loudly.

I only smiled at his words; something seemed so different about him. He reached out suddenly to me, holding his hand out in a gesture to help me up. Shocked, I took his hand as he pulled me up. I stared into his dark brown eyes, questioningly. His actions were beginning to run a long with feelings that I couldn't pin meaning to. He only smiled back at me with racing heartbeats. "Why does your heart beat so?" tilting my head to the side and pressing my palm to the left side of his chest in unison.

Alexander stopped himself from moving away with much effort which caused me to jerk back my hand out of fear of being rejected. He suddenly lurched forward grabbing my petite hand into his mountainous ones and pressed my palm to his chest. "I'm sorry, Kat, I was just shocked..." he turned his face away. I couldn't tell if he did this out of the fact that he was lying or was embarrassed. Human's emotions were harder to follow than animal's... While animals never lied and spoke through their heart exactly what they felt, humans darted back and forth constantly through different feelings.

"It's quite... fine." jerking my hand away from his this time. I looked around and jerked my head to the outside of the cave. Someone else is here... "Who else walks here?" my eyes met Alexander's.

"Oh, one of the men I work with is here." he smiled at me, as he started to walk towards the entrance. "I'll let you meet him after you change into the clothes he brought you."

"Clothes?" my lip quivered in disgust. Why do humans wear such horrid items? What do they need to conceal? Then I remembered how naked I felt earlier and covered my bare body back up with my arms realizing that in these times- I must behave differently.

"Yes, they're over there in that corner." he pointed to where some clothe items laid on a rock above the damp and muddied ground. "I'm going to go outside and speak to my coworker about our leaving arrangements."

I only nodded not questioning what motives or plans he had in store for me. Walking towards the clothes, I started to fumble with each item questioning how to use it or put it on. In my mind, I started to compare the items that Alexander used. All were pretty easy to calculate through my knowledge that I somehow knew already. I tilted my head at one of the items. I closed my eyes searching for what it could possibly be... bra? I put it on, following the long sleeved shirt and black snow jacket. I sighed, I probably looked ridiculous. I carried the hat outside with me refusing to put it on because it dimmed my senses.

Walking out, I met the eyes of both men. Damian was a short man, not much taller than me. We both met eye contact as I stared at him quizzically. I could tell that like Alexander at first, he was not very trusting of me. I only narrowed my eyes at him, watching his actions. His feelings spoke out quite harshly, and his being was painted with sneaky motives. I pushed away his feelings and blocked them from what the wolf inside of me sensed and snarled at.

"Nice to meet you, one they call Damian." I dipped my head towards him. You could tell that he was shocked at my actions when he found himself searching and stuttering for words.

"You are Karishma?" he finally spoke something.

I only shook my head, "This goddess figure your kind speaks of does not apply to me. I assure you I am no goddess." my words seemed to shock him a little as his eyes widened.

"Then you know what you are?" he pressed me. Alexander started to move and shift uncomfortably as he tried to think of a way to alleviate the situation.
