History Repeats itself ( A Boruto love story )

Returning

I crack open the door that Leads to the inside of my home.
I scan the dark house, walk in and, tiptoe up to my room trying to avoid running into someone.

I walk into my room only to given a heart attack, by the sight of my dad sitting at the edge of my bed.

I sqeak.
"Welcome home, Amaki."
"I don't fell welcome." I mumble
"Where have you been?" He asks. "Why would you care?" I spit
"Because I'm your father and I would like to know, now where have you been?" It was more of a demand this time.

I sigh, "I was over at the Uzumaki's, There happy?"
He stares at me questionly.
"You were with Boruto?" He questions. "Yeah, you got a problem with that?" I growl
"Tell me Amaki, do you have feelings for him?" He asks a bit irritated.
I freez, how could he ask something like that?
"What if I did?" I snarl at him
Anger flashes in his eyes.
"No daughter of mine, is gonna date an Uzumaki." He mumbles under his breath, I could still hear him.

"What do you have against the Uzumaki's? Dad, you should be thanking the Hokage, more like this village for forgiving what you've done to them! Hell you tried to kill mom when she was willing to do anything to bring you back safely to the village!
The Hokage spent day and night worrying about his best friend, who treats him like complete and utter garbage!
And for you information Boruto just so happens to be my first and only friend, and I dont give a rats ass whether you care or not!" I burst at my father, who just sits there emotionless as ever.

"And you are no father of mine!" I say icily.
"That's a lot of talk from a 12 year old." He retorts trying to stay confident with his voice and body language, but his eyes say otherwise.

He looks hurt, broken, and guilty.

I calm down but still manage to let a tear slide down my cheek.

"Y...you can c...call S...Sadara yours, b...but not m...me. I'll f...find someone e...e...else t...to g...give t..that-" I cutt myself off by sobbing.

Sasuke's Pov~

She starts to sob, letting out all of the emotion she's been burying her entire life.

I look at her, in her weakest state, she shrinks under my gaze. I do the only thing a normal father would do in this situation.
I hug her. Her sobs only get worse as she cries into her fathers chest.

She pulls away and wipes her tears. I stand up and exit her room.

My Pov~

He leaves my room. I feel a bit better now after that outburst.

I lay down on my side, letting exhaustion take over. And I drift into sleep.

.

.

The following day~

My eyes snap open, in realization that it's morning.

I squint, letting only so much light in, until my eyes adjust.
I put my headband back on.
My heart jumps at the sound of someone opening my door.
My mom walks in, "um, Amaki you have a visitor." She informs me

   "Uh okay, I'll be right down." I reply. I brush my hair before walking down stairs, only to see the same dope that I had defended last night. "Hey Amaki, Konohamaru Sensei told me to come get you for some mission." I raise an eyebrow at him, singnaling that I want to know what the mission is. "He said something about a beast attacking a part of the village." He informs me.

"Then what are we waiting for lets go!" I shout, grabbing his wrist and heading out the door.

Time skip~

"THIS IS THE VICIOUS BEAST KONOHAMARU SENSEI WAS TALKING ABOUT!" I complain, as I look at the sleeping Panda bear.
"Yep." Boruto says while scratching the back of his head
"This isn't a beast, it's a dumb freaking Panda bear." I retort kinda pissed that I have to deal with this.
"SHHH! Teme don't wake it, it may seem harmless, but those things can rip your throat out whenever they fell like it." Boruto hisses

"Whatever." I mumble

"So are we killing this thing or?" I ask "No we're simply just catching it." Konohamaru explains.

"Pft childs play." I scoff. I walk up to the Panda, pick up a big rock, and drop it on the Panda's head.

I poke it with a stick, and sure enough it was knocked out. I put a fist in the air to signal victory.

"Welp my job is done here." I say before turning to leave.

Time skip~

Konohamaru had told us that we had to report back on how the mission went.

We enter the Hokage's office. "Hokage Sir I'd like to report that, the beast has been captured and is being transported back to the zoo." Konohamaru explains

The Hokage looks up from his paperwork, and hides his exhaustion with a slight smile.
His eyes avert to me, and he smirks, "so you're the one Boruto always talks about?"

I blush a deep crimson, while Boruto turns pale.

"She's a pretty young lady as well." Naruto chuckles
"D...dad!" Boruto complains.

"Now now, Boruto no need to be embarrassed." Naruto teased.

"Tell me Amaki, Why don't you look like your parents?"
"U...uh, I don't know." I stood there confused as to what was happening.
"You don't act like them either." He mumbles to himself.

"Anyway, nice job you three." He congratulates.

I just stood there dumbfounded, before I followed after Boruto.

The walk was silent and awkward, everytime Boruto and I looked at each other, we became a blushing mess.

Every time we tried to talk we would talk at the same time, and we would go back to being quiet again.

Mitsuki and Konohamaru had gone off in a different direction to return to their houses.

"So what happened back their?" I ask. "U...um, well...I guess what my dad was saying is that I...uh...l...love you." I freez
'My best friend loves me?' I thought to myself. "Do you feel the same way?" Boruto asks hopefully.

"Well whenever you're around my my heart pounds fast, I feel like I'm gonna say something stupid, and I always blush when you smile. Is that what you call love?" I question.

He grins. "I'm pretty sure."   I smile at him

I ruffle his hair, "Goodnight Boruto."

Before I could turn and leave, Boruto grabbed my wrist, and pulled me in for a hug.
"Goodnight Amaki." He mumbles and smiles.
He pulls away from the hug and we go our separate ways.
