"Aurgh! Fuck!" I screamed.
There was young women cradling a small child that looked up at me and gave me a look like I was dirt.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to..." We both looked up at each other and his familiar emerald green eyes were flooding into mine. He offered, His hand to me, and I took it graciously, feeling to smoothness of his warm and gentle hand. He T-shirt hung to him, and showed every piece of markings on his upper torso. The smell of a sweet aftershave wafting under my noise, intoxicating my body.
He hauled me off the floor and up onto the pavement. His kind eyes not leaving mine for a second, but it felt a if I haven't seen them in an infinity. They were searching my face, but i couldn't work out why.
He rummaged through his bag and pulled out a small tissue and handed it to me. Thanking him, I wiped the blood away leaving a small gash in my leg. As I looked at his face, a horrified but worried look was dominant across his tanned face.
"I cut too easily..It's fine honestly." I said, trying to sooth him.
"I'm so sorry, my carving knife always pokes through my bag and stabs me in my leg, do you need stitches, my car is just round the corner, I can take you to the hospital if you want..." He sympathetically offered.
"No, no, I'll be fine. I just need a plaster or something, thanks anyway though."
"Let me take you for a coffee at least?" He offered with a sympathetic smile on his face. I nodded, and his smile grew bigger. His muscles moving under his shirt as he grabbed his bag moved in unison with his body. He had a perfect body, like one out of a fair tale book, crossed with a 'Healthy Man' magazine man. He looked up and he caught me staring at him. He smiled cheekily and carried on rummaging in his bag. I looked away as soon as we caught eye contact feeling the heat raise to my cheeks.
He let out a small laugh and then stood up tall. He was a lot taller than i was, around 6ft3 I think. He shadowed over me. His bouncy curls swaying in the sudden breeze and then i realized it.
"Your the boy from the airport, aren't you!" I screamed from my sudden realization. "I thought you looked familiar. Damn." I looked at the floor, suddenly ashamed of myself that i hadn't recognized him sooner. Did he know who i was? No, he serves hundreds of people, he wouldn't remember me would he?
"Yep, sure am, and you the ignorant son of a bitch who ignored me for minutes, making me stand there until you stopped daydreaming." He laughed. I looked up to him with flaring cheeks. I played with my nails, and he nudged me, causing me to fall, but as i tripped over my foot i fell into him. He caught me in his arms, luckily, making me escape any further embarrassment. So I thought.
We were in the most awkward position. His hands were wrapped around my waist, but in a comforting position. His breathe was hot, sinking into my skin, a mixture of spearmint and coffee. His muscles were tensing as his arms were wrapped around my petite body. His lips were full and a princess-pink colour. They were pursed together and open slightly. His eyes searched my face and then darted away and a flash of embarrassment crossed across his very hansom face.
"Thanks." I awkwardly whispered.
He pulled me up from his arms and let me gather my composure.
"Right, what's your favourite place to drink." He asked, diverting from the unfortunate event, whilst we started walking towards the car which i assumed was his.
"I don't know round here very well to be honest, I've only just moved here." I almost whispered, trying to avoid the back story.
"Well, the Coffee Cup it is then. You like coffee right?" He questioned. He opened the door for me and i climbed into the old Chevrolet
