The Author - It's been a MONTH since my last update and I could honestly punch myself in the face. Repeatedly. With brass knuckles. So anyway here's this. Hope y'all enjoy and hopefully I can keep it up this time. Also sorry this one's a bit short. Gods I've got to work on that!

The campers stand in a mass at the feet of the Olympians and the awkwardness hangs in the air like a thick fog. No one dares make eye contact with anyone else. Finally, Chiron steps forward.
"Gods and goddesses. We request guidance with our most recent prophecy."
Zeus blinks, "Chiron, you dare come without a summons? What stops me from now smiting you all?"
Chiron bows, his front legs bent, "Nothing,"
The way the word falls helplessly out of his mouth sends a tingly snake of chills down each out the demigod's backs. The reality of their situation bears down like the weight of the world. Trust me when I say that some of our friends know the feeling. Literally.
"Zeus," This time a boy with staggering blue eyes and bright blonde hair steps forward. Jason Grace, son of Jupiter.
The stern look on the king of the gods' face softens, but only for an instant.
"Speak," Zeus spits it out.
"We have been told a new prophecy and our Oracle cannot determine its meaning and neither can we. Please, I ask, just a moment with Apollo-"
His request is cut off. Another god, Apollo, steps up, "Woah woah woah. I'll be in charge of my, hep hum, wondrous services. Come mortals, beg at MY feet." He smiles, causing his sun-browned skin to tighten, revealing dimples. He walks with a sense of arrogance, flinging his hands around and shaking his bleached hair or rolling his sky blue eyes.
"Okay?" Chiron says, raising his legs and squinting at Apollo.
The demigods, who had been kneeling, stand. Apollo dissipates into a normal sized person and leads them into the Olympus courtyard.
"So," He says dramatically, "You mortals need MY help,"
Annabeth is the first to respond, "Good gods Apollo just tell us what it means!"
He rolls his eyes, "Where is the excitement? The drama?"
"Left it back at camp, in a box labeled, Needless items,"
"Fine then,"
------
"Really?" Apollo state at the demigods in compete confusion, "It means exactly what it says,"
Chiron steps forward, "Is this.... Really a way to stop monsters forever?"
"Well...no. It will be eons before they can get back out is what the prophecy is trying to say,"
A hush seems to go through the room as the truth sets in. We won't have to deal with them, is the only thought in every head.
