James: You glanced around Hogsmead, looking for your friend, (F/N). You knew that (she/he) liked butterbeer, so you walked towards The Three Broomsticks. As you were walking, four boys ran around a corner, one slamming into you and you both being knocked onto the ground. "Sorry!" The boy, with short black hair gazed at you with hazel eyes. You and the rest of the school knew him at James Potter. "Uh, it's okay," you shifted under his gaze. "Oi! Prongs, quit having your little moment before the Slytherins shows up," another you recognized at Sirius Black said. James rolled off of you and started running again, shouting, "Maybe I'll see you later!" Behind him.
Sirius: "Black and (L/N)," the professor's voiced droned and Sirius let out a loud groan. "A Slytherin? Prongs, Help me out here?" James grinned and shook his head, "Sorry mate, you're on your own." You walked over and plopped yourself in a seat next to Sirius. "Well, since we are forced to work together, I though maybe I could write half and you could write half, or you could read and take notes and I write the essay, sound okay?" You asked. "No," he said flatly, "I'm pretty busy most of the time," he leaned back and put him arms behind his head, purposely flexing his muscles, "So I can't do any work." He smiled at you, trying to get you to melt like other girls would. You sighed, "One: that's not working, and two: you're going to do work whether you like it or not," you finished and Sirius' grin dropped. "Library, after dinner, I'll see you there," he smirked.
You rolled your eyes, "As long as you do your work."
"Oh he plans on 'doing' something," you heard James mutter.Remus: You sat in the library, reading a Herbology text book and writing your essay when a boy with curly dirty blond hair tapped you on the shoulder. "Excuse me," he looked incredibly uncomfortable saying this, "but can I borrow that book when you're done with it?" You smiled and nodded, "You can use it now, if you'd like. I already took notes." He smiled slightly, "Thank you, I'll just sit right here incase you need it again," he seating himself in a chair across from you and you slid the book over.
Severus: "Watch where you're going, Mudblood," Severus Snape sneered as he sulked past. "Hey, Snape! For the record, I'm pureblood, unlike yourself, if it really matters, and maybe you'd have realized that if you took your greasy nose out of Lily Evan's business," you challenged. "You're just a filthy blood traitor, just like Evans and that animal Potter."
"You're just a filthy person! Just like those deranged psychos you follow!" Snape practically growled, "Stupid Ravenclaws, always think that they're right!" He stomped away.Regulus: "You're just a poor excuse for a Slytherin," Lucius Malfoy's cold voice drifted through the air and stung like bees. "Why don't you just die? We'd be happy to do the job," Bellatrix's obnoxious speech loomed. "Just leave her alone," another voice, one you don't hear often and was much kinder than the others sighed, "You've done enough."
"Black, why are you speaking such lies?" Malfoy asked. "Just let me take care of it, get out," Regulus said more powerfully. They reluctantly left and Regulus grasped your arm lightly, pulling you softly towards the bathroom. "Don't worry," he whispered, "I won't let them hurt you anymore." This sentence alone made a few tears streak down your face, someone cared. He smiled faintly and led you to a sink, "Now clean up," he said softly, "Don't let them realize they're getting to you. I'll help you from now on." You smiled, knowing that if you said any words you would burst into tears. He smiled gently again, and walked out of the bathroom.
