Sorry for not updated in a long time.

Here is chapter 2

"I would want to be a star"

"Why would you say that?"

"They are beautiful"

"How?"

"They shine bright just like a diamond"

"Then you are a star to me"

"How was school today?", my mom asked me as I walked in.

"It was good", I said while placing my bag on the table.

I sat on the stool as I always do and watch her prepare our meal, my mom was known as the best cook at some point, but it stopped. I didn't know it would be the last time I actually saw a real smile on my mother's face, I didn't know what to do to cheer her up, I just watched her fade away little by little.

She placed the plate in front of me and sat down next to me, and start eating. I watched her take her small bite and another bite, she turned her face and looked at me, and said, "You won't be healthy if you don't start eating."

I quickly looked away and started eating. 

Once we were both done, I cleaned up and washed the dishes, it didn't take me long enough to finish.I walked upstairs to my room and closed the door. I started changing into my workout outfit and tied my hair up, then ran back downstairs. 

"I am going out for a jog"

"Be careful", said my mom.

I took my usual way, it was quiet as I jogged around the park. As the sunset was about to set I walked to the place where I used to sit and watch the sun go down. When I was about to get there, I saw someone standing and watching the lake. He turned and saw me, then started staring at me. When I got closer my heart stopped at the sight of his beauty.

"Hi", I said.

"Hey", he replied.

"I haven't seen you around"

"I'm new to town"

"Oh, welcome"

"Thanks", he kept staring at me then asked, "What's your name?"

"Fae Dalson", I replied.

"Kai James", he said.

"Nice to meet you"

"Nice to meet you too"

The sun began to disappear, and my mom would be worried if I wasn't home before.

"Well I have to go", I said quickly.

"Good bye", he smiled as he waved.

I ran back home as quickly as I could, when I reached the handle, the door swinged open, and I saw the only person I never wanted to see ever again.

"Dad", I whispered.

He turned around and said, "Well it isn't Fae that just walked in."

"Why are you here?", I said and tried not to yell.

"Please sit, me and your mom want to talk to you.", he said.

I sat down on a chair at the dining room, my parents sat in front of me.

"What's going on", I said, my heart was beating at an unusual speed.

"Me and your mom talked"

"And?"

"We decided that we should start on a new page, a new chapter you may say", he said calmly.

"What do you mean?", I asked.

"We want to start again as a family, to be what we were before..", he pause then continued.

"Before your sister died, before you became this person you are now."

I stayed silence trying to register what he just said.

"Honey, please say something", my mom said.

"I really don't know what to say", I replied.

"I think its the best for us to start fresh as a family", my mom said.

I started at her for a while, then said, "If this is what you wish for then fine."

"Well that is settled, Fae I want you to meet the son of a friend of my that just passed away. He will be staying with us till he graduates High school.", my dad said.

He stood up then said, "Fae my daughter, meet Kae James."

I forgot where I heard the name till I turned around, and I saw him.
