"Your eyes are magical"

"How?"

"Just by looking at them, I fall for you deeper"

"Kae James"

"Hi Fae, it is nice to meet you", he said.

I was speechless, no words were able to come out, I felt someone nudge me, "Fae, say something", they whispered.

"I-I...", I stuttered. I took deep breath then said, "Sorry, it's nice to meet you Kae it's just you look familiar."

He nodded and smiled.

"I will show you to your room", my mom said as she smiled to him.

We all followed her up the stairs to his new room, it was surprising that he already had his things put away.  My mother turned around and looked at me and said, "Dinner will be ready soon, you should probably shower and change your clothes."

I nodded and left the room, but before I do, I glanced at him one last time then walked the other direction to my room. 

I closed the door of the bathroom and started undressing, I took my time getting myself clean and changing my clothes. I walked out to see him sitting on my bed.

"What are you doing here?", I asked.

He didn't reply but just kept looking at me. "Can you please knock before coming in next time?." I said.

"Sure, I didn't think it would actually be a problem since we are both living in the same house." he said.

"Well it is a problem to me, you are still a stranger and to add you are invading my privacy", I said as I combed my hair.

"Sorry, I just came to tell you dinner is ready." 

"Thank you, I'l be down."

He got off my bed and left my room.

I came down to find my family and Kae sitting at the table waiting for me, I walked to my sit and sat them. They started eating. My parents were asking Kae about his past life and his family, I ate quietly while thinking till I heard my mom call me, I looked up and smiled,"Yes?"

"Do you want to ask Kae anything?", she asked.

I looked at him and just kept looking for may be I thought 2 minutes, "Honey?", my mom said.

"No", I replied directly, "No, I have nothing to ask." I said and went back to finishing my plate. 

I can say I was the first one to finish, my family still kept talking to Kae although they were done eating, I got up and started cleaning up the dishes. I felt like doing a favor to my mom and wash the dishes today. 

It wasn't very tiring washing them but it felt like forever, but I kept wondering why was Kae here? What happened to his father?, How does my father know his dad?, those question kept repeating themselves in my mind that I did not even notice Kae standing behind me. 

"Do you need help?", he asked.

"No, but thanks", I replied.

"I'l be starting school tomorrow", he said.

"Nervous?"

"No"

"You can talk to me if you want too....You know if you feel that you need a person to talk too", I looked up to him and I never thought that I made a mistake.

His face was so close to me that our lips would touch with one single move, he kept looking at me as I did, then he took a step back. "Sorry", I said as I felt myself blushing.

"It's fine", he chuckled.

"I just wanted to let you know that I'll be going to the same school as you." He said.

"Well that's good, I'll get to see you all day." I said.

"Yeah.."He replied.

That night, I went directly to sleep, it was very exhausting with school and the run I took this afternoon, as well as finding out I'll be having a stranger living with me till I graduate. I just wanted to sleep and that's what I did.
