So, after that strange encounter with that red haired girl, me and Matthew continued to head to the base, or so we thought.

"Matthew, is it just me or are we getting absolutely nowhere?" I asked, i heard him sigh.

" Well, actually no. I feel like its getting further away."He mumbled.

" yeah." i replied, focusing on the tall buildings along with the wired fences; the base was huge, i never understood why they even thought having a place so secretive and big up one a clifftop was a good idea. I suddenly realized something. That base seems to stand out, it stands out way too much compared to the other surroundings. it's almost like a hallucination. " Matthew, are you hot?" 

" Duh!" He swung his hips, grinning. I rolled my eyes, i haven't got time for games now. "I'm joking! yes, i am actually, why'd you ask?"I thought for a second, then realizing i was correct. That base was simply a hallucination. Only one thing could cause this. The cause of the hallucinations are by a mutant humanoid species called the Hallogens, yes okay it's a dumb name but they are similar to sirens; Hallogens are mind readers and incredibly dangerous, they LOVE heat, and are more powerful with it, no one ever knew how they cause people to see things...

" Matthew, it's Hallogens!" I yelled, triggering the horizon to swirl, looking like the world around me was melting.

" Thomas, we have to run!" I heard Matthew scream behind me.

" Where too!? we are clearly lost!" I felt myself fall backwards, my head struck a sharp object causing my head to throb in pain. Matthew didn't answer, all i could hear was a piercing screech sound, i believe that is the sound of death.
