The next morning, you solemnly grab what little belongings you brought with you to Narnia and head outside looking for Aragorn. You can't find him anywhere and it's time to go, so you go to meet Aslan near the largest tree in Cair Paravel. A crowd of other Narnians has gathered to see you off.
Aslan has created a portal through the tree, and you can see your room at home on the other side. You take one more look around, but Aragorn is still nowhere to be found. You say your final farewells to the creatures of Narnia and to Aslan. You take a step toward the portal, but you stop when you hear footsteps running toward you and someone say "(Your name), wait." As you're turning around, Aragorn envelops you in a hug. You immediately burst into tears and bury your face in his chest. He's crying, too.
As you break the hug, he lifts his hands and wipes your tears off your cheeks. He whispers to you, "You know I can go or you can stay."
You smile at him. "I know, but you belong here and I belong there." You hug him one more time and whisper in his ear, "Be happy."
You turn away without looking back into those ice blue eyes and step through the portal. When you arrive back in your room, you cry tears of sadness, but also tears of joy for having met a friend in a wonderful place like Narnia.
