Cosy night in ??

Picking dawn up

Gary's PoV
I awoke to the sound off  my phone ringing.I sit up and rub my eyes then read the caller ID dawn X
"Hello"I say yawning
"Hey babe did I wake you ??"
"N..no course not"
"Alright good are you still up for picking me up ??"
"Ye Ye I'll set off now what about your friend ??"
"Alright thank you love you and her fella picking her up there staying at her sisters "
"Oh alright Love you to bye"
"Bye" with that's she hangs up
I get up and nip to the toilet after am done on the toilet I chuck a hoodie on and put the kids slippers and dressing gown on them both.After struggling with the kids I manage to open the front door with both off them in my arms open the car door and strap them both in.If am honest I feel absolutely horrible fir dragging them out at 1:45am in the cold but with dawn being pregnant am not risking anything.
35 minutes later
Finally we reach the o2 and it looks like she's only just got out he building.At least she wasn't stood in the cold.She reaches the car and gets in.
"Hey"I say smiling
"Hey how were the kids ??"she says strapping herself in and pecking my lips
"They were really good how was the concert ??"
"It was really good but I could feel the baby kicking a lot putting my back into agony"
"Glad you had a good night and there not long now till she's out"I say passing her a cappuccino and a paracetamol.
"Omg gary your a star this should warm me up"
"I know I am"I say giggling and taking my jacket off and passing it to her.
"Gary you don't need to give this to me am fine I'll end up stretching it"
I start the car and start the journey Home.
"Honestly it's fine just put it on"
"Thank you"she says smiling "can we go get food??"
"Ye I'll go through a drive through what you want ??"
"Can I get a wrap and medium fries from McDonald's"
"Ye"
We reach McDonald's order food then head home
