After I finished reading the letter Fred sent I tried to get some rest, it didn't work well. I kept tossing and turning throughout the night, getting up several times for a glass of water then returning back to bed only to be in more discomfort. I finally fell asleep after what seemed like hours of lying awake.

"What am I supposed to do George, she's sleeping! I can't bloody well just wake her up." Fred said with concern lacing his voice. I began to open my eyes, confused as to why they were here before I went to work?

"Lucky for you, Fred, she's awake now. No doubt it was because you couldn't whisper." George shot his brother a playful glare. They said they would be here at three, not this early. I sat up, groaned, then turned my clock towards me to check the time. It said 3:27, that had to be wrong.

"Very funny, now which of you changed my clock? I have to be at work by eight. I still don't understand why you guys decided to come over so early." I ended my sentence with a yawn, as I looked up to see them standing there with confused looks on both of their faces. What on earth was wrong with them today?

"Uh, Hermione, you must've overslept because we didn't do anything to your clock. Sorry you missed work, but we've got gifts!" said George with a beaming smile.

"Will you just stop with the pranks already? I'm not in the mood today. I've got to get ready for work." I spoke with a certain harshness to get them to give up on the joke already.

"We aren't joking, now hurry up we wanted to take you somewhere after you opened your gifts." Fred said then walked out of the room pulling George behind him. I couldn't have missed work! I never miss work, it's not like me. I'm always on time, I'm always there! I let out a frustrated groan and got out of bed reluctantly to get dressed. As I was walking down the hall to the living room I tied my hair up the best I could. As I entered the room Fred stood up.

"We figured you could either open the gifts now, or wait until later." Fred said as he gestured to the pile of the gifts piled on the loveseat.

"I think I'll wait until tonight, thank you for bringing them. So what did you two have planned for today?" I tried to sound as happy as I could, knowing that I had missed a day of work. George stood up and walked over to me then put an arm around my shoulder in a brotherly way leading me outside with Fred following close behind.

"You see, Ginny, Harry, Fred, and I decided since last night went so poorly due to our git of a brother that we would all take you to Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop out in Hogsmeade, and then afterwards we can stop at The Three Broomsticks to get some butterbeer. Sound good to you?" George asked with a grin spread across his face.

"Sounds lovely." I smiled and then we apparated to Hogsmeade. We made our way down the street to the quill shop, once we walked in Fred took my coat and walked behind me asking millions of questions about everything I picked up.

"Are you almost done, Mione? It seems like we've been in here for hours!" said George as he was tossing a bottle of ink up and down.

"Stop! You'll break that then we'd have to pay for it. Be more careful in here, this stuff isn't cheap." I scolded him then snatched the bottle of ink from him and put it back on the shelf. Fred laughed as George pouted like a little boy. I picked which quill I liked the best then went to buy my items when Fred came up behind me and paid for everything without giving me the opportunity to protest against it we were already walking out of the store.

"You really should let me pay you back, it's not fair you didn't give me an option to buy my own things. I can take care of myself you know." I said as I took my new belongings and placed them gently into my bag as all of us walked to The Three Broomsticks. Once we entered the pub all three of us froze as we saw Ginny and Harry snogging in one of the corner booths.

"Look at those two, acting like no one else exists." George said with a smirk on his face meanwhile Fred had a half disgusted, half impressed look. "You just wish that was you and Her-" George was cut off by Fred Elbowing him harshly. I laughed at them as we made our way over to Harry and Ginny. Fred crossed his arms then cleared his throat to get their attention. They immediately separated and Harry stood up with his hands behind his back as his face turned bright red.

"Hey guys! Didn't see any of you come in." Harry said in a rushed tone then sat down close to Ginny while avoiding eye contact with the twins.

"Obviously" Fred whispered to me and I stifled a burst of laughter then shoved him playfully. Me and Ginny started talking about everything under the sun, but I couldn't seem to stay off the topic of her and Harry.

"So when did you two make it official? We haven't had time to have a proper chat about it in forever." I said in a hushed tone Ginny's face turned red and she brushed her hair behind her ear.

"We aren't exactly official yet, mum doesn't even know. You guys just kind of caught us..." she glanced over at Harry.

"I think you two are perfect for each other, I couldn't see you with anyone else." I gave her a gentle smile as our conversation quickly changed subject.

"So what about you and Ron?"

"What about us?" I spoke in a harsh tone

"Are you two still dating?" she said cautiously. Why did she want to know so badly, we just got into one little argument. That's what couples do!

"Of course we are!" I said louder than expected and everyone at our table turned to look at me. I could feel my face getting more red by the second. "At least I think we are..." I said almost in a whisper. I felt horrible for raising my voice at her like that, I have no idea what had gotten into me.

"Ginny I'm sorry for raising my voice like that, I have no idea what I was thinking." I said as tears started to fill my eyes, what is going on with me? She reached over and squeezed my hand in a reassuring way making sure I knew she wasn't upset with me. I wiped my eyes then got up and excused myself from the pub. As I got outside I walked to the side of the building then leaned against it and I let my tears flow.

"I hate Ronald, I hate him so much! He's an arrogant git who only thinks of himself, if he even thinks at all." I had to say those things out loud or else I was going to burst. I rubbed my eyes and stood up straight then started walking, as I turned the corner I stumbled into a tall figure. "Watch it!" I looked up to see Fred standing in front of me and I immediately started apologizing.

"I am so sorry, I have no idea what I was thinking. I-I just I wasn't thinking like I normally do and I wasn't looking either, and it's just not been a good day for me. And I cannot get Ronald out of my head." I took a deep breath and ended my sentence, "I'm sorry."

"Why were you crying? Birthday girls aren't supposed to cry ya know." A grin spread across his face as he pulled me into a hug. What's up with him? Normally he would just make a sarcastic remark and walk off. I didn't resist the hug because I desperately needed one at the moment.

"Mione, you need to make up your mind. I've had to witness you and Ron get into many unnecessary fights over nothing and I don't enjoy it." He released me from the hug and I gave him the best smile I could manage at the moment.

"Could we stop by the Burrow on our way out? If it's not too much trouble for you and George."

"Of course, Mione." He said as we made our way inside back to the table.
