Dark Twist for My Alpha (Completed)

Chapter Ten

Cyde's POV

Walking out of the office, and towards the stair I can already feel him. His prense is over powering leaving me breathless and wanting. This feeling was annoying but comforting at the same time. Breathing in through my nose his scent invaded my mind. 

I slowly moved my eyes from the stairs to his face. He was angry but I knew that he was also happy to see me. Inhaling more I smell the scent that I did the first time me met in the woods. Burnt cinnamon mint and a yummy citruis smell. Shifting uneasy as I came to standing at the bottom of the stairs. 

Riyler moved towards me and grabbed my waist pulling me closer towards him. And the sparks dance where he touched me even through our clothes. God this feeling was driving me insane. With lust and it was all I could do to not attack him. And rips the clothes from his body and run my hands up and down. I stop mid thought when Riyler was ripped from my arms. 

Pace had a sliver knife to his throat and Riyler was on the ground growling. His hands shifted into claws they both were glaring each other in the eyes. And I felt the sparks of tension in the air. The wolfs that he had brought along all growled and I knew that if I didn't do something quick this would escalate into a real fight. 

"Pace remove your weapon from his neck." I hissed at him and he looked over at me knife still on Riylers neck. 

"He was touching you I should have kill him." Pace said anger in his eyes, and I didn't understand why he was so angry. 

"Pace do it now who is in charge here?!" I questioned him and he looked at me and then back at Riyler who was now calmer and obviously told his pack to calm down because they stopped growling. 

Pace stands but not before he shots a glare at Riyler. Taking a deep breathe through my nose I exhale and smiled. I'd just adverted a fight, when I normal would have started it. Standing Riyler walks back over to me and wraps an arm around my waist and places his head on top of mine. I could tell that he was smirking. Because Pace was grinding his teeth, in evident anger. Looking over at the stairs I watch as my mom come down followed by the other members of families along with my father. 

Thankfully my mother didn't seem to be annoyed that we had werewolf's on our territory. And that was good but also odd. Just what was going on I feel like I've missed something. 

"Alpha Riyler. What a pleasant surprise what do I owe the pleasure of having you here in my home?" My mother stated in a cold voice that was also welcoming. I felt my mind stop mid thought, she knew who he was, but how we never talked to the werewolf clan before just how did she know? 

"Sarabella, I see you did not forget my kindness, your guards even allowed me to pass onto the territory." He said his voice booming from his body and over my head. And he knew my mom is there anything else I was missing?

"Well you did allow me to search your territory for my daughter. But now I must ask why you are glued to her?" My mom said a smile on her face, she looked annoyed and gave me a pointed look. 

"Well we did find her. But she ran off before I could deliver her to you properly. And also introduce you to her as my mate the new Luna of the Black Dusk Pack," he said simply. 

Turning my head when I heard the knife drop from Pace's hand I find a disgusted look on his face. He looked horrified at what he just heard. And I felt hurt, he was looking at me like I'd just grown two heads. That's how a lot of people in our clan looked at me. But I never though that Pace would look at me like that. Hurt that what I felt like someone was pouring acid onto me. 

"Mate you say but its not allowed for you to mate with a human." My mother said looking smug. 

"That is true but she could always be changed into a Werewolf if she was human but she is not a human. She is a half Demon, if I do remember correctly." Riyler said beating my mother, who looked angered at him. This wasn't going good but I couldn't move my body I was to comfortable pressed into Riyler. After the look that Pace just gave me I felt like if I moved I would break down crying.  

"So you plan to change the half of her that is human into a wolf? That is illegal even in your world if I am not mistake to change a human into a Werewolf!" My mom fired back they were really going for each others throat. 

"The law is in place for those that would create an army of Werewolfs. It is not illegal if you change your mate into one. Its actual piratical to change them into a wolf." He stated and ran his hand over my stomach. The gash in my stomach almost all but healed. That sent a warm feeling into my body along with a feeling of calm.  I was thankful for both feelings. 

"You cant just take her. Even if she is your mate she still has free will to choose weather she will stay with you or stay with her family." My mother spat back. Her cool composure slipping and she got angry. 

"The pack is also her family they would give their lives to protect her. While it seem people here wouldn't do the same thing for her." He said calmly but a dark tone hidden under the pleasant voice. 

"Don't misunderstand me she can choose what she want but, there is a reason why we have mates and that is because we are destined to be with that person for the rest of our lives. And the same for them we complete each other like no one else will ever be able to." He spoke again before my mother could open her mouth to reply back. 

During the whole exchange I had not spoke a word no one had. No one had the balls to interrupt either my mother or Riyler. They both at the moment were the strongest and scariest people in the room. And they both knew it. All of the sudden my mother turned her eyes on me and I knew that she would leave the choice up to me. And I knew that if I stay here no one would understand me. Pace had already looked at me with disgust and that had all if not completely broken me. My heart had shattered in that moment. Tightening his arms around me I knew that Riyler had not lied when he told me that he was meant for me. That didn't mean I wouldn't get to know him but I knew that he wouldn't look at me with disgust. 

Maybe it was finally time for me to go live with other like me other supernatural. Looking up I started straight back into my mothers eyes. 

"I love you mom and dad. But my place isn't here and I think you've know that for a while. And I think so have I but I've just been to afraid to admit it. So I will be going with Alpha Riyler. I'll come and visit you and I am sure that you can visit me as well." I said holding back the tears that threatened to spill over down my face. I didn't look at Pace as I turned and walk towards the door that lead out of the house. No one talked, and I felt Riyler behind me. I knew that something in me had broken but I need time away and so did they.
