Dark Twist for My Alpha (Completed)

Chapter Eight

Cyde's Pov

Did I feel bad for leaving. Maybe.. okay yes I did but I don't know if it was the right choice to leave like I am and still doing or should I have stayed?

His arms were so gentle as they held me, he was so warm and comfortable I don't remember the last time I had a good nights sleep. But it was much welcomed after the hell I went through. I couldn't help but remember the feelings.

But leaving when he was sleeping was hard it was so gut wrenching, I just wanted to crawl back in and sleep with him. Knowing I can't I leave a note. And lightly kiss his head before I left.

I left silent and quietly as I did I was sure some werewolves would stop me. I stuck to the trees but no one bothered me not that anyone was out. When I was trapped in the Vampire covens I wanted to leave and I would have killed anyone that got in my way. But here all I wanted to do was to stay their with him but I had my family they had to be worried about me.

I shiver a little when the cold hits my skin, I was moving fast but it was still cold outside I was at a main road from what I could tell and am surprised to find that I was only about 10 miles out of the city this was weird I had no idea that this was here. Chuckling a little I keep my pace in the trees but I am forced to stop on the road. No more trees and I had no desire to run on the road that would just be a pain in the ass.

I wait for a little but sooner or later a car passes by and I watch it go a little further and then the tail light flashed red and I heard the breaks screech and smile I walk slowly towards the car. My boots making no sound as I walk. I smile and open the back door and slide into the car.

Now normal I wouldn't suggest that you do this you never know who's in the car and what their intentions are... but luckily I don't have to worry about that, humans were weak and easy to take care of this try to get rough with me.

I smile at the people that let me into the car their is a young guy that at least my age if not maybe a little older he is driving. And then another young that is five or ten in the car. He smiles at me he's got cute dimples and beautiful brown eyes that sparkle.

"Thank you, for stopping if not for you I would have been out their for a little while."  I say really meaning that statement that I said I wouldn't have been walking I would have found someone sooner or later, or the fact that Ryler might get me before that maybe my heart skip  beat. I kinda wanted the last one to happen. But I got picked up it wasn't going to happen my heat hurt with the fact.

"No problem, it wouldn't have been polite if I had left you out their, but you can thank. Jack he's the one that saw you." The guy spoke and I turned and looked at the boy names Jack. "And I am Sam, if you don't mind me asking what is your name?" He was polite.

"Well thank you Jack if it wasn't for you I would have been out their for who knows how long. Its nice to meet you Jack and Sam. My names Cyde." I say my eyes on the young boy as I talked he was different and made me wonder if he was alright. But it was something else a nagging feeling in the back of my head. Like maybe it wasn't the best idea to be here with these guys. I almost wanted to jump out of the car... almost. But I didn't want to get banged up I did like my body how it was and that was not torn, cut, bruised, or the best one broken.

"Why were you out on the side of the road?" I turn my head at the sound of Jack talking to me his child like eye boring holes into my head and I was a little uncomfortable but I wouldn't let it show through. I was calm and just answer as honest as possible.

"I just had a little trouble I got lost hiking in the woods. And I made my way to the side of the road hoping that someone would be passing by and could help me get back to the city so that my family wouldn't freak out since I had been lost for a while." I gave him a soft smile that is guarded but also opening.

"It's a good thing that we were driving past. Where are you going in the city?" He doesn't push me any further on the subject and i am thankful for that. I smile and think about where they can drop me off.

"Just to the northern end, it'll be fine if you can get me their."

 I said and pulled at my hair.

"Yeah we can get you their." We didn't say anything after that, he just drive and turned on the music and she enough after a while we got to the northern end of the city.

"Stop here." He pulls to the side and I open the door, sliding out of the car. "Thanks you really saved me.

I said with a genuine smile. 

"Don't worry about it. I'm glad I could help you. You be careful, I hope your family isn't to worried. I'll need heading out." He gave me a smile and I got on the side walked and waved my hand as they left a small smile on my face.

The smile left when I could not longer see the car. Pulling a have through my hair I began walking. This is well one of the richer parts of the cities but didn't mean someone wouldn't get the fancy idea and try to mug me.

Lucky I made it to the gates of the be house without being attacked. I wait for the guard to come see who it is seeing I don't have anything to identify myself.

"What business do you have?" It was James one of the older hunters that wasn't aloud to hunt anymore.

"Hi James, I'm back." I say with a smile and a blinding light is splashed into my face then the gate open and I am basically tackled.

"Girly you had us all worried too death! Your moms and dad tore up everything while looking for you even went to werewolf territory." I inhale sharply at his last comment.

"Thanks James, I was on vampire territory. Though it's not mark on any of our maps I think it must be a new Coven that just moved on." My brain flipped back into normal hunter setting.

"Well talk about that later you look like you went through a nightmare. Lets get you inside." He wraps a protective arm around my body and leads me in past the gates. Which are lined with protective circles nothing will brother me for the moment.
