That night I came home tired and overwhelmed. Never had I ever been to something so amazing and crazy at the same time.
I walked into my room when I noticed there was letter placed on my pillow. My name was perfectly written on top. I had seen that hand writing before. Mother. I thought as I tore the letter open. My hands started to tremble as I read the letter. It read...
Kylie, You have always been my light. Since the day you were born I knew you were special. I am well aware of your new life in New York and hope that you will happy. I didn't want to tell you this over the phone because I felt it would be more understood from a letter. By the time you are reading this I will have passed. I have been in such sadness since you left. It will be better this way....

I dropped the letter and curled up on to the floor. It was impossible to breath. A million questions filled in my head. The tears came uncontrollably. Thick, Black, and wet. The tears never stopped.
     I leaned back on my bed frame. I felt a cold sensation as my head lightly hit the metal head board. My eyes were weak. There was a lump in my throat and a knot stomach. I pulled the letter close to my heart and crushed it. I let it consume me, the words my mother had said. Her very last words. As I closed my weak eyes and drifted off.
