New York, New York

Chapter two

      
             My room was way bigger in New York. The air still smelt like peppermint from when I spilled a bottle ounce leaving a faint stain on the edge of my blue velvet carpet.
    I touched the edge of my bed slightly. I felt the warmth of my cream white fur cover as I layer back onto my bed.
    As I looked over I could see the busy New York traffic down on the streets below. The people look like little moving dots from up high. They seemed to carelessly move swiftly thought the foggy afternoon.
      My father had his own life her in New York. After him and my mother had me, my mother decided that the glamour life wasn't for her or apparently me either, so she packed up our things and we went to live with my Aunt Sophia in Montana. Since then my fathers stack business got even more famous. Then he married a British model ,Maggie Brooks, not long after they had a son named Jupiter, who currently lives in Japan.
I've only seen him twice in my life. Ounce on my 16th birthday and the second time for my fathers 50th birthday. Jupiter was very tall and had dark green eyes and light blonde hair that touched the tip of his thick eyebrows. We didn't look much like each other. Unlike him I was dark haired and had blue eyes but we both were tall like my father was.
I herd a light tap at the door and ran over. I opened the door and there was a tall blonde standing in front of me.
"Can I help you?" I said sweetly
"Your don't remember me sweetie?" She talked in a light British accent.
I had forgotten it was Maggie I had only seen her ounce or twice when I was like 5 or 6.
"It's me, your favorite step mom!" She said loudly
"Oh nice to see you!" I said with a fake smile as she pulled me in for a hug.
"Your father has sent me up to get you. We are going to have a dinner as a family. Jupiter should be here soon! He is coming in from Japan!" Maggie said as she shut the door behind me and starting to pull me down the hallway.
