As Spring trickled by, more baby birds and fawns were sprouting up around the kingdom. Hundreds of children were born, and more ceremonies in which the royal couple kissed babes and blessed toddlers were held. Delphine, being the typical teenage girl, hated these occasions, in which she had to fit in a heavy bejeweled crown and smile.

I mean, seriously. Who would want to have to make a huge effort to keep their head up? She grumbled to herself. She noted the many boys with open jaws, staring at the gorgeous princess who blessed them with her graceful presence.  Ah, such a mistake to fall in love with a brat such as Delphine. (I mean, she is the main character, but she's still a brat. Also, I've been writing for fifteen minutes and I still haven't even gotten halfway through the chapter.)             "Okay, so you actually WANT to go to this thing?"

"And we need all the time available to make you two look gorgeous on this huge day!" The queen gushed. "In this dump? No way." Amaryllis muttered so only Delphine could her. Delphine giggled. "Hmm?" Queen Lilith(for that was her name) said absentmindedly. "Nothing." The girls said in unison. "All right... Well, get going! We have hair to curl, dresses to choose, nails to paint!" She cried before leaving. "I just remembered something." Amaryllis  whispered, looking nervous. "What?" Delphi  said, confused. "I- I found a..." But her voice faltered. "It's easier if i just show you."  She led Delphine to her bags, whispered something in her ear, causing Delphini to go ghostly white and whisper back, "That's impossible." Amaryllis reached into a bag and pulled out a
