My name is (Y/N). I have (h/l) (h/c) hair with a (f/c) streak. I had good grades, lots of friends, and hung out with the nerds even though everyone classified me as a jock. I'd never hang out with those jerks. Did I forget to mention I HATE bullies? My brother was driven to suicide because of them, so I have my good reasons. My parents left me because they thought it was my fault.

I have nobody left.

I sat at my desk with my chin in my hand, lost in thought.

"Yo (Y/N)!"

I snapped out of it at the trance. I turned to see my best friend in the whole wide world, Quill.

Forget what I said. I have him and Fresh.

"Oh, hey Quill!"

"Nothin' much. You're as energetic as usual."

"Heck yeah I am!"

He chuckled and took the seat to my right. Mr. Ink walked in with a shy-looking students trailing behind. As Mr. Ink stopped in the front, so did he. He was looking down and was playing with his fingers.

"Class, this is our new transfer student. Please, introduce yourself."

He waited a moment before answering.

" . . . D-Dust. I-I'm 16 years o-old."

Ink gave me the look. I was always the one to gladly introduce myself and become friends with the new kid. After all, that's what happened with Quill. I stood up and walked over. I stuck my hand out.

"Hi there! I'm (Y/N)!"

He looked up at me and his face turned blue. He lightly grabbed my hand and I shook it.

"Hows about we become friends?"

"I-I would l-like th-that."

I smiled and led him to the seat at my left.

"You can sit here! Right next to me!"

I sat down and just went by with the lesson. During the whole time I caught Dust staring at me, and blushing when we locked eyes. When class ended, it was just Ink, Dust, Quill, and myself in the room. I took Quill's hand in my right hand and Dust's in the other.

"Come on you lazy bones! Lets go!"

I heard Dust and Quill talking while I practically dragged them to P.E.

"I-is she always t-this excited?"

"Yup. (Y/N) sure is a ball of energy."

What I didn't know was that, despite their friendly conversation, they were glaring at one another.

I dragged them to the entrance of the locker rooms. I walked into the girls and waved while entering. It was cool that me and Quill had the exact same schedule, except for elective. But now Dust had the same schedule AND had my elective!

This is great! A new friend!
