'Choas has come again'
"We have a problem. Actually, let me rephrase, you have a problem" Marcel gains the attention of everyone in the room before stepping to the side and letting me waltz by with a smirk adorning my face.
The tension in the room was already high but when multiple sets of eyes land on me it causes the atmosphere to become almost unbearable. Completely ignoring Lucien Castle and the long lost Mikaelson, Freya, my attention is purely focused on Klaus, and Elijah. Vaguely noticing that Finn, Rebekah nor Kol is around for my grand entrance.
The color drains from the Original's faces, standing unmoving in the same position they were in before our arrival. Klaus and Elijah facing each other but their heads in my direction with identical expressions.
The smirk tugging on my lips becomes wider and more menacing "Hello brothers" I remark with narrowing eyes.
Movement gains my attention from the unmoving brothers of mine, shifting my gaze to Lucien as he stands up from his spot on the couch looking at me, not shocked, but extremely terrified reminding me of Katherine Pierce when she hears Klaus' name.
I guess his appearance shouldn't be a surprise since Tristan is here. With these two here then Aurora, Tristan's sister and the biggest pain in my ass, shouldn't be far behind. My smirk drops slightly at the thought of the three first vampires Klaus, Elijah and I have ever turned showing up at our doorstep.
Quickly shaking off the discontentment of having the three first vampires in our sire line here in New Orleans, I move my gaze back to my brothers who I have missed dearly.
Klaus takes a step forward with big eyes, his mouth slightly ajar in the perfect picture of shock. He stared as if I produced two heads. I could just imagine the sparks in his brain, desperately trying to connect the dots and instead just causing a short circuit.
"Niklaus" I breath out silently.
He's grown his hair out longer, the blonde strands beginning to curl at the tips with an unshaven jaw. The man who once stared at me with all the hate he could muster now looks down at me with a look in his blue eyes that I never thought I'd see. In his eyes is his humanity, the person he really is. There are times it gets lost, but I see it in his eyes today. I see the love that burns there too, the sort that goes for an eternity.
Klaus walks up to me slowly and pulls me closer to him wrapping his arms around me. His embrace warm, and his big, strong arms seemed very protective when wrapped around my small body. I wrap my arms around him and squeezed back with just as much to say without saying it.
I forgive you for what you did to me.
It took me while but I do. With every fiber of my being, I forgive him of his wrongdoings -which there are a lot of- simply because I have had to lose him in the past. Almost for good.
