Chapter 2

10:30AM:

Cassie opened her mouth into a yawn, and felt the warmth of her covers on top of her. "Jesus Christ, I feel like shit. What happened last night?" She looked around her room. No boys. "Thank you sweet Lord! I didn't sleep with anyone. Or did I? What if they just left!? Oh my GOD!" She began to panic, and then heard a rugged voice. "Don't worry, you didn't have any one night stand." She yawned again. "Gene, what are you doing in here? Shoo!" He laughed. "You don't remember anything, do you? You clearly can't hold your liquor very well!" She rolled her eyes. "And you were sober?" He hesitated. "Well.." She stopped a moment, and looked down. "GENE WHAT THE FUCK? WHY AREN'T YOU WEARING A SHIRT!?" She hid herself under her blankets. "You act like we're in Kindergarten. We're adults, Cassie." Then he paused a moment. "Wait.. Have you ever been in a relationship?" She gasped, threw the blanket off of her, scrambled out of bed, and got up in his face. "HOW?" She asked. He looked at her. "HOW DID YOU KNOW I'VE NEVER BEEN IN A RELATION-" He grabbed her hand, causing her to shut her mouth and get a bit flustered. "Cassie.. Cassie.. Do me a favor.." He murmured quietly. "And shut the fuck up!" There was a moment of awkward silence. "Anyway, you wouldn't feel like such shit if you drank some water last night, but you passed out, so I wiped the barf off your face, and put you in bed. Pretty much, that's it. I wasn't going to wake you up to give you water." He explained. "Awe, thanks Gene!" Gene looked at her. "Trust me, I didn't do it for you, I did it for me. If I woke you up, I would hear your bitching for ages." Then, he turned, and began walking away. "Hey! Where are you going!?" She called. "Shopping, for groceries. By the way, your sisters spent the night, they're down in the living room. You should lend them some clothes, and you all should have a girl day." Cassie blinked in surprise. "Wow, Gene, that's actually-" But, he was already gone. She let out a loud huff. "Jeez, that guy is impossible.."

11:00AM:

Cassie walked back into her room, and looked through her shoe-box. She found some cute light purple Converse, and a cute light purple turtle-neck. When it came to Cassie and clothes, she had EVERYTHING. She actually wanted to be a clothing designer! She then picked out some black leggings. "This set will be for Amy." She picked out a scarlet red halter top for Laura, that cut above the stomach. If Cassie knew anything, aside from how much Laura loves to make out with boys, is that Laura loves showing a ton of skin. With that halter, she also picked out jean shorts, and thigh-high black boots. For herself, she picked out a orange short sleeved v-neck top, and black leggings for herself, too. She picked white Jellies, because she personally thought they were quite cute! She rushed downstairs, to see her sisters gaming. "Ha, beat you again!" Boasted Laura. "You know I'm not good at these things!" Amy huffed. Laura began laughing, and Amy noticed Cassie. "Cassie? What's up?" Laura stopped her laughter, and looked at her sister. "Come upstairs and get dressed. We're having a girl's day out!"

12:00PM:

It took her sisters some time to get ready, and in the mean-time, Cassie made breakfast for everyone. Now, they were getting ready to leave. "Everyone ready?" Cassie said. Both sisters nodded, and Amy smiled. "I love the outfit you picked out for me." Amy said, pushing her black framed glasses back up her nose. "Same." Laura said. "I'm feeling it." Cassie smiled. "Glad you both like your outfits. Now can we please go?" They nodded, and Cassie grabbed her car keys. "Let's go!"

The first store they stopped at was... KOHL's!

Amy bought two pairs of Converse, each costing 36$. "Don't be afraid to spend money, we're from a rich family!" Laura said, trying on some dark sunglasses. "I know.." Amy said quietly. "I'm gonna get some pairs of Wedge sneakers." Cassie said, wandering away from her two sisters to look. She found a whole isle dedicated to them! Jackpot! She ended up buying two pairs of Wedge sneakers, and one pair of Wedge boots. The two pairs of sneakers were blue and black. The boots were made of smooth leather, that was brilliantly colored white. By the time she got back to her sisters, Amy had a stack of shoe boxes she was holding. "What the hell, Amy?" Amy looked around the boxes. "Cassie, Laura has me holding these boxes for her.." In all, they spent 437$. Only on shoes!! Most of the cost was on Laura, though. They spent a while longer at KOHL's, looking for new cute dresses, tops, and shorts.

2:00PM:

"Wow, we took a long time shopping, didn't we?" Laura asked. Both Amy and Cassie gave her death stares. "What? It's not my fault I couldn't get that damned dress off!" Amy stopped glaring, and looked at Cassie, who was driving. "Now what, Cassie?" Cassie smiled. "Well since LAURA took so long, I decided we should get some Cold Stone ice cream!" Amy cried out happily. "YES PLEASE!" Amy usually doesn't get too loud. Unless your talking about sweets. Surprised she manages a figure like Cassie and Laura? Yeah, me too.

Next stop was... Cold Stone!

As they walked in, everyone looked at them. Laura took her sunglasses off and slid them into her purse. One guy even said; "Dayummm gurrrl." But they mostly ignored those comments. Laura stepped up to the front. "I'll pay this time, guys!" Laura said, smiling. "We split last time, but since you cost so much.. Yeah, you should." Cassie said, bringing out her sass. "I'll have cookies n' cream. The one with the mint hair will have mint chocolate-chip, and the short one will have chocolate-chip cookie dough." Laura ordered. "On it." The lady at the counter said. "Hey! Don't call me short!" Amy whined. "How did you even know what we wanted?" Laura glared over at Cassie. "You're my sisters. Of course I know what you want." Amy went with Cassie to sit at a table, and they picked the one near the window. "Jeez, this summer's pretty hot, huh?" Cassie said. Amy simply nodded in agreement. Shortly, Laura came over with everyone's ice cream. "Here you guys go!" She said happily, handing them their ice cream." Cassie licked away happily, but not as happily as Amy. She chowed, dude! As Cassie ate her ice cream, she pulled out her phone. She had a text from.. Gene? How did she get Gene's numb- That dick. That dick was so rude as to input his number into her phone when she was passed out. "Hey! Having fun? ;)" She smiled slightly at the text, and replied. "Yeah, everything is going well enough, I suppose."

It took the three girls an hour to get icecream. They got a ton, though. As they kept wanting more and more scoops, the cashier couldn't say no.

3:00PM:

"Jeez Amy. Have our parents been hiding the ice cream from you? Cause, you ate a lot." Cassie said. "To be honest, they have been. I think I have an addiction!" All three of the girls laughed. Cassie admitted to herself that this was quite fun. She wanted to thank Gene for the idea, but didn't know how. She was ready to go home already, even though they were only out for 3 hours, and only hit two spots. But for some reason, she missed home. Did she miss home, or did she miss Gene? She shook that possible thought out of her head. Gene was a dick, no matter what. But everyone deserves a thank you.

"For our last stop, we're going to Krispy Kreme's." Cassie said finally. "What? More food? Are you trying to make us fat?" Laura asked. "No. I just want to get some for everyone. Like Mom, Dad." Laura smirked at her. "Okay, sure. Let's go."

Third, and final stop... Krispy Kreme's!

They walked in, and for some reason it was very quiet. Guess Summer is more of an ice cream time. They walked to the counter. Cassie smiled. "Hi! Can I get three dozen doughnuts?" She said, and added; "And half a dozen, too?" While looking at Amy, who smiled a thanks. "Sure, it'll be no problem." This time, there was an older woman attending as the cashier. Cassie picked her dozen to be shared between her and Gene. Since she didn't know what he liked, she got all different kinds, and she made sure she got a lot that she liked, too. Laura picked out hers, and Amy picked for both her parents box and her's. The doughnut lady gave them their boxes, and they all left.

"Hey Cass, we took a taxi to your place, so could you drive us home?" Laura asked. Cassie shrugged. "Sure, whatever." She must've forgotten how far everyone's houses were, because Cassie did not get home for awhile after dropping off Amy and Laura. She looked at the doughnut box nervously. "What if he doesn't like doughnuts?"
