All night Tyler played his beautiful ukulele. He learned how to play so many songs, he forgot about his stupid old piano. When Tyler finally felt tired, he brought his ukulele from the practice room up to his bedroom and slept with the instrument in his arms.

Josh began to feel sceptical about the thing. He finally stayed home for the pathetic boy, yet he was ignored the whole time. Maybe it would pass. Maybe Tyler would notice him when he got his drinks and made his meals. Maybe Tyler was just hiding it. Josh just kept telling himself that as long as Tyler was happy, it didn't matter.

Tyler fell asleep around 3am and woke around 6. The second even a slender ray of sunlight hit his window, he burst up out of bed, charged into the practice room, and strummed his beautiful ukulele.

Josh fell asleep long before Tyler decided to pack up for the night. The strumming drove him bonkers. Getting frustrated, Josh went to bed around midnight. He tip-toed off to his room to leave Tyler with his new best friend. Now Josh woke up to the sound of Tyler's arrogant strumming.

"She asked me, son when I grow old..." Tyler's singing echoed through the small house. The angry Dun's eyes twitched as he flung open the doors of the practice room.

"I have work today, you know!?" Josh charged right up to a shocked and confused Tyler, and he yanked his new ukulele out of his hand. Tyler froze like a wax figure as Josh shouted in his friend's face. "You stayed up almost all frickin night just to play on this annoying ukulele! It would've been fine if you've just played it until I went to sleep, but nooooo. You had to play all night and wake me up a million times before you decided to get only a wink of sleep!"

Tyler stared into Josh's enraged mocha eyes. On the surface he seemed so angry, yet his soft eyes whispered another story into Tyler's ear.

Noticing Tyler looking into his eyes, Josh stopped yelling. He couldn't bare yelling at someone quite as cute as him. Tyler's gentle hands swiftly grabbed the ukulele out of Josh's loosened grip. Josh made a small puppy-like whimper and let his eyes drop to the floor.

"Look I'm sorry, Ty. I know you're a little... emotional sometimes. I shouldn't have let it-" Josh's eyes snapped back up to Tyler, who started happily strumming his new tune on the ukulele. Instead of getting mad again, Josh turned and sadly trudged out of the lonely practice room, closing the door behind him.
