I Just Want To Hold You

Chapter 9

Eren's POV*

Laying by Levi was a slice of heaven to me, to have our fingers entwined together while listening to the other's heart that is paradise. I don't care how long this peace, this heaven lasts because time doesn't matter to me only being with him and my cub does.

Vrrrr vrrrr

I pawed around on the bed until I found my discarded jeans where my phone lay. I picked up the offensive object and swiped my finger over the screen then put it to my ear "Hello?" My voice sounded cracked and wheezy like I was using it for the first time.

"Eren? Where are you? Are you okay?" Marco's worried mama bird voice came through on the line. Funny since he's the dominant one.

Levi stirred by me and held me close "I'm fine, I spent the night at Levi's. What's wrong, why are you calling?" I tried sitting up and rubbing my eyes with my arm.

"There's a guy at the house asking for you, a leopard. Says his name is Shaner or something."

I stopped moving, nearly dropping my phone "Reiner?" I choked out.

"Yes, that's the name. Do you know him?"

I swallowed and pressed the heel of my hand against my eyes "Where's Ally?"

There was crackling on the other end and the cooing sound of my cub. "We're upstairs in your room, Jean is talking to him downstairs." More crackling "Eren, who is he?"

I choked back a sob "Don't let him see Alice. Just please don't." I forced the pain down from that incident and tried to clear my head so that I could focus. "Did you say anything about knowing me?"

"No, he asked but we said that we're just neighbors. Who is he?"

With numb senses and nerves, I started to dress. "He's the bastard." I choked, feeling all the pain I had been suppressing for months finally rise up "He's the bastard that made Ally, he's her no good monster of a father that attacked me at that place."

I started to feel the tears trail down my cheeks then something rough lick them away. I looked over to see Levi dressing as well and holding my hand in reassurance to give me strength. I turned back to the phone "Don't let that fucker anywhere near her. Don't let him hear her nor see her. Levi and I are on our way." I hung up and pulled my shirt on.

Levi held me from behind "It's going to be okay, Eren. I won't let anything happen to you." He kissed the top of my head "Or Alice either."

I nodded and stood up, grabbing my bag then dropping it. I wouldn't be needing it, I can come back to get it any time. I looked up at Levi through my lashes and saw him smirk telling me it was okay.

We went out of Levi's house and started walking towards my house. I broke into a run, ignoring Levi's car and just running. Levi followed me close behind and before we knew it we were in front of my house.

Third Person POV*

The duo stood in front of the white washed four bedroom house, the scent of leopard invading their senses. The wolf growled while the mother cat hissed and they both started heading inside as calmly as they could. Even though the blood inside them was boiling to the point where they wanted to kill the intruder.

They found Reiner and Jean sitting at the round coffee table, Jean looked annoyed while Reiner looked chummy. The two stopped talking when they saw Eren and Levi.

Reiner stood up and spread his arms wide open and approached Eren then enveloped him a hug "Eren, so good to see you again. What brings you here?"

Eren squirmed out of Reiner's grip and pushed him away "Don't fucking touch me, Reiner. And don't act like we're buddies."

Reiner grinned "What's wrong, Eren? Not happy to see me?"

Eren clenched his hands into tights and threw rationality out the window by letting his fist fly and smash into the leopard's face. Knocking him back and causing him to fall on his ass. "Happy to see you? Oh yeah I'm very happy to the see the asshole who fucking raped me! How the fuck do you think I feel after seeing you in my house?!"

Reiner rubbed his jaw "Heh, you've got some meat on your bones. I have to say." He undressed the neko with his eyes "You look incredibly sexy."

Eren grinned and started grinding his foot against the other's groin. "Sexy huh? So you think seeing your victim actually healthy for once is a real turn on huh?"

His fun was cut short when a familiar voice called out and grabbed onto his leg. "Mama home! Mama home!"

Eren felt his heart stop but mechanically picked up his daughter and held her close.

Alice looked over his shoulder and saw Levi "Daddy! Daddy home too!"

Reiner grinned sadistically and started to pick himself up "So this is why your scent changed."  He approached the mother cat and grabbed him by the back oh his head making the wolf, Rottweiler and golden retriever growl simultaneously. "You've been keeping secrets from me."

Eren passed Alice over his shoulder to his mate "She's not of your concern."

Reiner chuckled and leaned I'm closer till he was glaring right into the oceanic orbs "Of course she is, I'm the father after all aren't I? Doesn't that mean that I have the right to custody over her?"
