Chapter 10

Eren's POV*

I laughed at his words, I laughed like a maniac, a psycho path. I couldn't help but laugh.

"A father? You call yourself a father? Hahahahahaha! Do you even know what that word means?"

Levi placed his hand on my shoulder and spoke the exact same words that I was about to say "I am more of a father than you will ever be, you're just the sperm donor that created this adorable cub of mine."

I nodded, placing my hand on his and resting my cheek on our hands "Jean, if you would be so kind as to show this piece of trash out." I glared at him with one eye open.

Jean and Marco cracked their knuckles at the same time, sending shivers down my spine after seeing the looks on their faces. "It'll be our pleasure."

Time skip, three weeks later.*

I laid my head back on Levi's chest while watching Alice play in our school's new playground for young children.

After the incident with Reiner happened, we were taken to court concerning my daughter's future. That's when Levi burst with a document in his hand that he slammed on the judge's table. Claiming Alice as his adopted daughter, then he slammed down another document that claimed me as his wife and mate. Then he walked over to where me, my lawyer and Alice were standing and got down on one knee. He took my left hand and slipped onto my ring finger a beautiful ring with two stones in the middle held in place by gold wings wrapped around them like a nest. One stone was a stormy grey while the other was an emerald with flecks of gold.

Then he embraced me and my daughter whispering "I finally get to hold you."

Now we're living together in Levi's house and so far, no problems have come our way.

And that is how our new life begins.
