I can't see a thing, not even light. I'm sitting between two guys, in the middle of the backseat. One of them hits me once in a while and shouts at me, calling me an American pig. The truck is shaking alot, we are on a really bad dirt road.

Ten minutes have passed, I am scared to even think where these guys are taking me. My heart jumps everytime I think of what they might do to me, they are well known for tourtouring and killing prisoners. I won't tell them a thing.

After about ten minutes of driving, we finally stop.
They get me out and push me on my knees, everyone is quiet now. I start hearing footsteps approaching me.

It stops two meters from me.

The bag on my head is taken off, reavealing a big guy with a long scar on his face. One of his eyes is blind.

"Oh well, look who we have here!"

I can feel alcohool in his breath. He speaks a very bad english.

"What's your name?" He puts his hand on my chin.

I slowly lift my head and look in to his face. We intelsely look one at another.

I spit him.

He freezes for a moment then slowly takes his shirt to wipe his face.

I take this moment to quickly look around me and see where I might be. There is a big green gate in front of me, opening to a compund made of clay walls. The rest is desert, only sand.

All of a sudden he slaps me with alot of power.

"You stupid American pig!"

After this he says something in their language, one of them puts the bag back on my head and starts dragging me towards the gate.

As I get further away from him, he shouts at me:

"You will see what we prepared for you!"

I hear door open in front of me then a chill as we enter.

They untie me and take the bag off. They close the door behind me.

I'm in an empty room. White walls and grey floor. There is a materess in a corner, it's all ripped out.

The only source of light is coming from a tight window, too tight for me to fit trough. You can see specs of dust in the sunshine.

** She's cooking in the kitchen, listening to music. I just arrived from work.

"I'm home, love!" I say loud enough for her to hear.

No response. She's been like this for weeks. We barely even talk sometimes. She's still angry on me.

I take something out of my backpack.

"I brought you something…"

I put a book on a table, she doesn't like flowers so I buy her books. I head for Sophie's room, leaving the book there. I know she'll take a look at it, she can't resist books.

Sophie's drom door is open. I can hear her singing.
I stop in front of the door to listen to her.
She has the voice of her mother, that voice which can melt even the most frozen icebergs.
I look at her.
She he has the beauty of her mother.

She sees me.

"DADDY!!"**

I am very tired but I can't sleep right now, I have to find a way out.

"What do I do now…"

I look everywhere around the room but there is nothing.

All of a sudden I hear footsteps coming.
