SOMETIMES LIFE THROWS obstacles at you that even a waitress can't carry.

Maria Withers wasn't exactly proud of her job, seeing as she was young and it wasn't her dream job. Of course, she doesn't mind working as a waitress at Mystic Grills but sometimes she wishes she could pursue other careers — like photography for example. However, Maria still finds a way to enjoy her job alongside Vicki Donovan.

When a new face shows up in town, he immediately captures the attention of Maria. Unfortunately for her, the new face was pining over someone he can't have, Elena Gilbert.

The young Withers girl ends up eyeing caught in a crossfire, one a young girl like her shouldn't have to be stuck in between.
