Carolina's PoV

*Flashback* 

I woke up in a cave, my head hurt. Dazed and confused I got up and tried to walk across the cave to see outside. I was almost at the mouth of the cave when I heard a growling noise. It sounded like a..... a.....

"Wolf" I whispered

I slowly turned around and saw it, a huge gray wolf. 

"Hey, there. It's ok.... girl?" I questioned

The wolf picked up its head as if to say 'yes?'. I looked at her again and held my hand out. She crouched low as if to attack. She bared her teeth and snarled.

"I'M SORRY PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!" I cried

She lunged at me, only I never felt the impact. I turned around to see her ripping out the throat of one of the men that had been chasing me. His expression turned blank, and his face went pale. I didn't actually think that the blood left that fast. 

I felt something nuzzle my hand. Out of instinct I flinched and picked my hand up. I looked down, right into the eyes of that poor wolf. She looked at me confused as to why I jerked my hand back. I set my hand on her head and stroked her extremely soft fur. 

I got down on my knees and looked her in the eyes.

"Your name... is Rebecca. You and me, we're together forever." I said in confidence

I hugged her with, tears in my eyes. I wasn't alone anymore. I would never have to be alone again. 

"I love you Rebecca, you are my only family now." I said

*End Flashback* 

I blinked tears from my eyes, why was I crying. Oh, why couldn't I breath? Right I was being choked, what do I do.

"He.....h...h......hel.....help." I managed to choke out

"Hahahah," he threw his head back and laughed "There's no one to help you sweet heart." he whispered

Derek's PoV

"There's no on to help you sweet heart." I whispered in her ear

Then I heard a growl, it sounded kinda terrifying. I looked around quickly, nothing. Carolina was knocked out so I stood up. Maybe we weren't alone. I heard a soft running noise, like paws, then it was apparent, there was a dog here. I spun around and put one across the "dog's" muzzle. I wasn't cruel, I loved animals. I just didn't want to be eaten. I looked down and realized that it wasn't a dog... it was a wol..... WAIT A WOLF! I thought, then I heard a thud and was falling to the ground, she knocked me out...... A FUCKING GAIN!!! GOD DAMMIT!!!! I SWEAR!!!! 

I swear to go....." My sentence was cut short as darkness surrounded my vision.
